Enjoy watching your videos. We farm up north so no cotton or peanuts. Can you explain the reasons why some farmers bale cotton and others use like a huge (squeezer/compressor) probably wrong name for the machine but it creates a semi sized block? Thanks keep the videos coming!
I’ve driven both a cp690 and a cp770, neither would pick a full day without plugging the doors at least 6 or 7 times. Both pickers had the larger doors installed and only picking 2 bale cotton. How many times does your picker plug in 4 bale cotton?
Well, if a door plugs I’ll clean that section and start again. But later that same door will plug again with nothing but cotton. I’ve tightened hose clamps check for air leaks but found no reason for it to plug.
Gorgeous Cotton! Nothing better then a cotton shirt w/ a “Made in the USA” tag.

@@southernfarmer Hello, how are you? I am looking for a training course in cotton cultivation, can you help?
Apologies for missing it if you’ve already answered, but what’s the difference in a picker and a stripper?
I’m not very familiar with a stripper but mainly more trash in the cotton. Pickers have it cleaner. No stalks are disturbed ideally
