honestly NG+1 is weird in this game lol, youll steamroll a good amount then like random ass bosses will be harder than they used to feel. Like maliketh felt like a pushover but Radagon and Gideon kicked my ass oddly enough

Many fixes for bosses. Speaking as someone who’s platinum’d it on 2 accounts and is on ng+5. Games only hard if you’re being stubborn or not willing to learn.

I’m so glad you made this comment because I’ve struggled with keeping up with the new cod vids based off being busy and I don’t respect Activision like I used to. But I always made time to watch his vids for a decade now. But seeing these videos makes me remember that I don’t watch him because of my disinterest in call of duty. I watch him for his UFC predictions a lot times are are but are amazing to listen to, his appreciation for fans, and just making content that’s just enjoyable no matter the game. But these elden ring vids brought me back and as enthusiastic as ever.

I know I’m not the only one when I say that I love the “old style” jev videos that the elden ring series has produced. Gives me the same feeling the videos used to back in the day when jev played multicod and had just quit the factory job. Crazy how far you’ve come

Hey Jev, Love the content, if you are going for the Frenzied Flame ending you should inherit the flame before burning the tree, it gives you an extra cutscene
Ive never played Elden Ring or had interest in similar games but its craxy how i could literally watch Jev stare at a wall and be entertained. Loving the content
That first path with the stinesword keys has the best sacred seal for incantations in the game for bleed/arcane builds. I'm using it right now and it's a good bit better for my bleed build.
fun fact that makes this build even more edgy, some of the blood spells actually have you stab a lovecraftian outer god and using its blood to attack things

if you go through that place u opened at the beginning with the stonesword key you get an amazing piece for your build u are doing. I recommend it, it will help a lot
My theory on multiple break walls…the walls have a certain amount of HP that may be triggered when fighting the collection of snails in that hall. Or there’s some visual indication in the game that players haven’t yet caught onto.

Get the tailismen that heals you when you do damage/ kill an enemy it will help a lot with this build

Yo so there’s actually a glintstone staff called albinnaurics staff I believe that has S tier in arcane which would be good damage booster for your build and quick tip if you still held the staff your currently using and put it on your left and used the albinaurics on the right and used that for your spells the thorns staff on your left hand will still give you that passive boost without even needing to use it just carry it
might as well do bleed if you are leveling arcane
The thing about ng+ is for the first couple of ng+ restarts I would say it's actually a harder experience just restarting from scratch the difficulty increase just isn't enough to equal you keeping your stats and equipment/skills but it gets harder the higher you go so you gotta just keep pushing forward
I love hearing jevs friends in the background on the calls makes the videos better in a way

Jev’s multiple playthroughs of this so far has really opened my eyes to how versatile the gameplay for these soulslike games really is. You can truly tell that they just put so much work into these games it’s actually insane.

Use the talisman that heals you after killing enemies like that your health replenishes while using the spell
Jev do hyetta's questline. It connect directly to flame of frenxy ending and gives frenzied flame seal too.

I'm on my 4th playthrough now, things definitely have a weird scaling system for ng+ in this game, but by the time you hit ng+2 you'll definitely feel the difference, the first 2 times I fought maliketh were relatively easy, and the third time he kept clapping me until I used bloodstep, bosses seem to spam more in ng+s
no, they were using camera clips and weird collision mechanics with weapons, and originally thinking they were going to be added on or were taken out, its cool they found out what some of them were

7:52 whenever you do this you get an almost unnoticeable debuff that removes 5% of your health until you use the item and rest at a site of grace. You can see the debuff appear in the top left if you look closely, it looks like a red square with an arrow pointing down.
I think it's meant to imply that she steals life like that. In her questline you can see how manipulative and calculating she really is. Which I totally expected in the first place.
6:00 you might have learned by now but the major shardbearers can project themselves in other locations, that's why you fight Mogh in the sewers and Godfrey's ghost thing

As a player who is doing ng+ 6 on level 150, because I wanted every ending, there is not a single move from basically any boss will 1 shot you with any attack

It’s honestly dope seeing a LOT of people trying out a souls game. It’s honestly really dope having people branch out to play these types of games rather than mainstream games like cod, valorant etc.
It’s like everytime a souls game comes out, the whole gaming community as a whole comes for the challenge
Fun fact: elden ring is actually a sequel in what’s called the “ring” franchise the previous game is called “eternal ring” and came out wayy back in the day on ps2 ,made by from software and was like a very very early version of dark souls
that staff sucks if you use it to cast arcane scaling spells, but you only need to hold it to get benefit of the thorn damage passive. So hold it in offhand and use Albinautric staff (which scale with arcane) to cast your spells.
I would kill for an extended playthrough.. even if it’s cut up a (more or less) start to finish would be fucking epic.

You should try to get the talisman that greatly boosts incantations, you get it from a very simple quest in the Caelid region by the Sellia Town of Sorcery.
Jev's gonna love the platforming puzzle for the Frenzied Flame ending.

I think what’s baffling about margit and morgot is the existence of godefroy. I think the game makes certain members of lineages appear similar much like there families have heirloom names

Everyone was getting stomped by Margit on launch and I just found out yesterday that you can buy Margit’s shackle from Patches. It works the same as Mohg’s shackle.
There are a few spells you can use that would normally deflect off of wall without secret passages so they probably used those and when they went through they knew it was a secret passage… I saw a video of someone doing it
The wall that takes 50 hits to break also requires a "heavy weapon". So maybe go back and hit that wall with your greatsword.
Jev. there are talismans that give you health from taking damage, and then landing attacks and there are other variants. those could counter the damage you take on your thorn magic.

Margitt is an avatar of Morgott. They're the same person, but still their own individual entities. An avatar is like, a magical weaker copy of yourself that can act of its own accord.
You can get the same dagger that the Black Knife Tiche Summon uses, it’s pretty good and it’s weapon art is like a mini maliketh blade spell but way faster
This is giving me old 2011 Skyrim vibes, n the fact my fav RUclipsr jev is playing it is just the best
@FaZe Jev theres a katana that shoots blood blades for FP & its not horrible. an oni drops it, worth looking into for this build ♥
If you want to maximize your build you should switch to the Albinauric staff, and the Dragon Communion Seal. Both scale to a S tier arcane, and the higher your arcane is the faster you build up blood loss, and other affects.
If you want to do more damage with blood sorceries use lusats staff in your left hand while you have the staff of guilty in your right hand

Blood is absolutely the strongest magic in the game outside of max buffed lightning. That ancient dragons lightning spell is nasty when u build around it. 3 or 4 shots almost any boss on NG+

So Margit is basically a possession - So Margott possesses a body and fights you essentially - it’s why you can encounter him before you enter Leyndell as he just possesses a random guy on the battlefield
Just a word of advice jev, There is a blood arcane katana at a destroyed church in the land of the giants that kicks ass. Just make sure to get it before killing the fire giant or you'll get locked out!
Get rivers of blood, two hand it, use your mimic, stack the bleed, become the ultimate Blood Lord. Love you Jev.

Jev ik its too late and this build is done but you should have used the dragon communion seal for the blood spells, gives a red glow and at +10 gets an s scaling in arcane aswell as like a c in faith, would have pumped more damage out of swarm of flies and shit.
This new opening slide is now iconic and should be on the start of every video you make
There's a staff you right hand that scales off arcane and u put the blood staff on left, you'll actually do damage with this setup

You can have the thorn staff in your left hand and use a staff called albunuric staff it’s better scaling plus you still get the buff from the thorn staff if equipped in your opposite hand also there is a really good talisman that scales off of arcane in the imp door thing you opened in the being of the vid if you’d want to grab it but besides all that thanks for the content jev I’m glad your enjoying the game can’t wait for more ♥️
Jev you should try a arcane/bleed build use a katana or the godskin peeler set it to occult at +25 and peep the scaling damage with 65-70 arcane 500ish damage with scaling on a twin blade is nuts. Pair It with seppuku, Lord of blood exaltation, and twin sword insignia and its insane. Can just murder the mobs with melee and chunk bosses with dragon spells.
