Hi Shant, I'm so glad I found you. I'm from Chicago and am considering a move to Tempe for all of the reasons you have mentioned here. As someome who lives near Lake Michigan, water activities are a priority. Though top on my list is Transportation as well. I may or may not have a secondary vehicle, and I don't mind. Was in NYC for the first time over the summer, and we took the Metro and buses everywhere, without any problems, and uber late at night. It was so convienient. The Arts and Entertainment are very important too, as well as the economy and the University... For me, sounds like the best vibe. Looking forward to seeing more of your content. I'll definately look you up for future relocation services. Thanks ☀️
Christine McGlade no worries! I appreciate your comment! Out here we don’t have no where near the transportation system as NYC (but hopefully it gets better) You may also like the historic district in phoenix. Let me know if you ever need anything!
@@shantjanesian9347 For what it is worth, it is better than cities such as Houston. They have many areas that don't even have sidewalks. Fuggetabout public transit. The Phoenix metro area is fairly new, so there is catching up to do. To put things in perspective, Los Angeles reached a population of 100k in 1900. Phoenix didn't reach that mark until 1950.

I moved to Tempe from California this past Labor Day weekend ! Landed 2 jobs since then but my girl friend HATES IT !! The people I encounter interact like an episode of the Walking Dead or Zombie Land !!???! Where do single people go out here because I live around retirees ? ?? This video was informative, thanks Shant !!!
Rotten Sircus oh no I am sorry to hear that! Go to old town Scottsdale Or Arcadia area in phoenix for good restaurants If you want to stay in Tempe you can go to Mill Avenue. But it’s mostly ASU students
Rotten Sircus Retirees in Tempe? Tempe is not known to have a major retirement community such as Leisure World (Mesa) or Sun Lakes (Chandler). I am not saying that there are not anyone who is retired that resides in Tempe, just not a large community of them. With that said, there is a high rise that is being built in downtown Tempe for retirees who prefer to live in a more urban setting. The mind set of ones who would rather be in an urban setting is a bit different than those who want to live in a community with those who are exact duplicates of themselves. Even, if that is not always the case, they will still be outnumbered in Downtown Tempe!
@@shantjanesian9347 That is why I am confused about Rotten Sircus states as living in Tempe and living around retirees??? Leisure World in Mesa, Sun Lakes in Chandler and Sun City in the NW Valley are the major retiree spots in the Valley and none are located in Tempe, lol!

Thanks for the information! I’ve been wanting to move to Az from Missouri and I’ve been looking at Chandler, Gilbert, and Tempe! I’m 25 and a young professional, would you pick Tempe out of the other 2?
It really depends what you like to do! Chandler Gilbert are more family type cities (but still has great restaurants and stuff). Maybe south Scottsdale would be good as well!
Hi Good video I was wondering about the crime rate for the area & the Real Estate taxes for a 3 bd 1 ba house. Any other ideas for safety if you are not familiar and new to the area? Thanks
Hey! Thanks for the feedback, real estate taxes are on estimate around 1,500-2,500 a year in taxes. Safety wise depending on where you are at I can help out. Shoot me an email if you would like Shant.janesian@gmail.com!
What is ball park figure to buying. Got interested iñ Tempi from Watching Pamela Mace. She's got the most beautiful garden. A beautiful woman with a lot of knowledge àbout gardening
I am a remote worker in my 40‘s. Visited Scottsdale and actually liked Tempe better. Are there any nicer apartment places that are not fully stacked with students, but rather professionals, or a mix? Any suggestions?
Love your videos :) you should make a video on the North Peoria/ Happy Valley area and show Lake Pleasant and the beautiful neighborhoods like Vistancia, Northpointe, West Wing, Paloma Park, Aloravita, etc. Peoria is the best city in the country for outdoor lovers and job growth!

Hi Shant! I’m from chicago and considering moving to AZ as I got a new position at UofA Tucson, however I couldn’t like any neighborhood or apartment buildings in the Tucson area. I liked a lot the Tempe Town lake new apartments, so I’m wondering if it’s crazy to live in Tempe and work in Tucson ? Thank!
Hey congrats on the new position! Yeah that would be kind of a crazy commute everyday. It’s about an hour and a half without traffic. You may have to stick it out in Tucson!
Thank you for this info. In laws are in Buckeye. There is an opportunity with my job in Tempe. Hubby too. Is there an area in Tempe comparable to Verrado? We are in Florida but considering moving out west. Thank you Sir😊
Loved your video ! I want to move here with my kids 🤗🤗 what's that sign say behind you ? (Dont support excuses ) ?! Also what's your contact information if in ye near future I'm looking for a condo or business start up space ?
There is a lot of things that have been bothering me that have make me want to question the whole thing. You need to ask God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost to show you what I am talking about, and what to do with the whole situation of what is truly going on! There were these who were saying things like “somebody is taking advantage of your loneliness or are the ugliest person,” just to tear me to pieces! You need to ask God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost to show you who these girls are, and where to go to confront and expose these people!
Tempe is perfect!

Moving back next year from cali

Carlie Hall hey that’s awesome. Unfortunately nothing like Verrado in Tempe. Tempe being an older city here not a lot of new development
is Tempe somewhat cheaper than Phoenix?
jhoel lopez it’s tough to say on avg. it probably isn’t. But that’s because phoenix is so BIG and has such a variety in price range
Mesa forsure is
quantum Mesa is extremely expensive compared to Phoenix and Tempe
What about the weather ? Is it the same as Pheonix ?
Otis Burgess yes it’s pretty similar (only a couple of degree difference)
It’s in the Phoenix metro area so it’s pretty much the same weather.
The traffic is terrible
How’s the traffic?
Hey Austin, it has gotten progressively worst year by year - still not as bad as most cities but getting there
