Closest thing youll get to that is in the 2005 movie Revolver, that was actually the reason i came here. Sad to see no mention of his performance there.
I first saw him in Body of Lies and was surprised to learn he’s actually British of Italian descent and not Middle Eastern. He was brilliant and so convincing as a Jordanian intelligence officer in that film and he really left an impression on me. He’s been bloody brilliant in every film of his I’ve seen since. One of the most underrated actors of our generation.

Most of the people outside of UK didn't know about Mark Strong until he played the Jordian Intelligence Head, Hani Pasha in Body of Lies. That unbelievable performance introduced him to international audience and that role todate remains his most intimidating.
@Anónima lmao. He's darker than me. He at least has somewhat of a tan. Bald and pale ain't a good look. Good thing you can at least control your tan haha.
His Sinestro was a flawless performance he disappeared into; the mark of a great actor. The movie was a train wreck in many ways, but his role is the diamond in the rough.
Mark Strong is a great actor. For me, he steals everything he has done with his performances. Very versatile, brilliant with comedic timing and delivery at the same time brilliant when delivering straight dialogue. He has a persona and presence that stands alone no matter who he is sharing a screen with. Everything he has done is worth a watch for his involvement alone. He makes any movie project better by his attachment to the project. Many people will watch a film on his involvement in the film alone I hope his pay bracket represents that because he belongs in the upper earners of TV and film actors.
Rocknarolla is a great film and has become a cult classic now because many people have finally realised just how good it is. Mark strong is a great actor.
My favorite Mark Strong performance is Dave in Twice Upon a Yesterday from 1998. Killer cast (Doug Henshall/Lena Headey/Penelope Cruz) and just a great film. I may be one of the 3 people that actually saw it and rewatch it at least yearly.
Wow😮. I’ve seen him in some of these films and did not recognize him. Amazing actor that I am now discovering thanks in part to his role in Shazam. Then I realized that he was in Cruella. I want to see his other films now.

Leaving out Harry Starks, ( The Long Firm mini-series, on You Tube ), is like a list of moon-walkers leaving out Neil Armstrong......once seen, never forgotten. Armstrong.
I can't believe you picked his role from The Brothers Grimbsy. I wish I could forget I watched that film... But he's amazing! He did a great job in Deep State too. One of my favorite actors.
For tinker tailor, did they just call bill haydon, the man jim prideaux was in love with his 'life long friend' ????? They were in a relationship when they were at uni together??? lol. I guess a friendship is one way to put it. Joking aside, i love mark strong. Hope he pulls a Harry Hart in the 3rd Kingsman and comes back. If he doesn't I'll be so upset.

If they ever make a proper 'Hitman' film, I would want him cast. Underrated actor, but great. Don't see enough of him, really
Closest thing youll get to that is in the 2005 movie Revolver, that was actually the reason i came here. Sad to see no mention of his performance there.
Yes !! I said the same thing when I watched brothers grimsby the other day ! He would be perfect
@@Eriecartel Yup, Sorter kicks ass
I agree but in the Hitman film Timothy Olyphant was great that movie is a 2000s classic, this had to be said.
In rock and roller he makes the kray twins look like sissy’s
Strong is so naturally intimidating, he pulls off his villains so brilliantly.
Frank damico is forever my favorite
I first saw him in Body of Lies and was surprised to learn he’s actually British of Italian descent and not Middle Eastern. Am I the only person who finds it weird to see him with hair knowing that he's bald?? Lol 😂
I watched him first time in "Sherlock Holmes". I was surprised when I found out he's bald :D
If not the only person, one of the few.
He looks great with with hair
Not at all
Lol
I have always thought that he has been underrated as an actor. Brilliant choice for a video from 'watchmojo'. Thank youi.
While filming in Toronto for Shazam, Mark came to the Goodlife gym I work at, got a selfie or two with him.
Lucky you
Awesome
The Sorter in Revolver and Archy in Rocknrolla were his best perfomances
Switch #1 and #2 and ill agree with this whole list. Him as merlin and that epic death scene was amazing!
His best performance is as Captain Titus, in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine
His role as Daniel Milton in Temple was amazing! Definitely in my top 5.
Pretty good in Cruella, too, as John the valet, although he was a side character, he played an important role in the story.
I loved him as Prince Septimus ❤️
Every second of screen time, he makes film magic. Superb actor. Especially in The Guard.
Mark Strong is a terrific actor I totally agree with the ranking of Kick-Ass on this list because he does the New Yorkan accent so impeccably

So many accents. Guy's a legend
Dude is criminally underrated
i think his performance as merlin singing country roads
deserved no.1
No Sinestro mention?? Literally one of the few good things from the Green Lantern movie.
Rocknarolla is a great film and has become a cult classic now because many people have finally realised just how good it is. Mark strong is a great actor.
I hear Heraclio in Mark Strong films he’s been in. Also, he was enjoyable in animated and live-action films.
I would love to see him as the next Lex Luthor

He would be a great Professor X.
He's sinestro in green lantern, and dr Sivana in shazam.

Mark Strong deserves more heroic roles.
Where’s revolver? Hands down one of his best performances
I always thought he would have made a fantastic Bond villian.
No Captain Titus mention?
The best one is the voice of an Astartes, named "Captain Titus", in the game called, Warhammer 40000 Space Marine.
This guy needs to be casted as Quan Chi in the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie.
u got a point here, buddy
Mark Strong is good in anything. He knows what roles to pick, and then does an outstanding job. And, he is very sexy; doesn’t hurt at all!
What about his role in The Guard...
Frank damico will forever be my favorite
I loved him in Kingsman.
Am I the only one who's got a crush on him but don't know why?
