and yet there are so many people touting the intelligence of pigs ... pft. aaand, i don't believe the pigs that aren't caught won't return to the trap again because they will too return ... they'll doing anything, ANYTHING, for food.

You are correct. Often a smart hog will climb on a pile of hogs in the corner of a rectilinear trap and escape.
If they cooperate with each other instead of slamming and stepping over each other most could get out,those were some huge strong ones
