Thank you. I am an Arab. I follow you to learn the English language by listening to you. I was surprised today by your presentation of Arabic novels by Naguib Mahfouz. Your pronunciation of Arabic names is good. Thank you. I follow you every day. Your presentation is wonderful. I used the translator to

Thank you very much for your kind words. I appreciate your comment on my pronunciation, I never know if I'm saying the names correctly.

Great to see People that don’t speak Arabic read some of Naguib Mahfouz’s works , one of my favorite writers of all time although I’m not sure how well the translations hold up to his original work . Great to see nonetheless and hope you enjoy more of his works. FYI in case you’re interested his name is pronounced Na-geeb Mah-fooz

Thanks. I read a lot of books that have been translated from different languages and I always wonder how accurate they are to the original. There have been a couple of books I've read by different translators that have had some subtle differences but, mostly, agreed. I do plan on reading more of Mahfouz in the future, The funny thing is that before I did the video I asked a friend if he knew the correct pronunciation of Naguib Mahfouz and I think I had been saying it fairly accurately but he thought it was Na-gube so I went with that.

Love Mahvuz, and I'm not connected with Arabs in any way. Children of our Alley is phenomenal. I found it as an example for life to be a source of religion, not other way around. It also goes this way for mythology. Don't get me wrong, I am not too rational. Love also some books wrote by Rushdie.

He's a great writer. I like what you said about life as a source of religion and agree with you. My intention is to do a video of the books I've read by Rushdie sometime in the future. I've read quite a number of his books and I think most of what he wrote was phenomenal.
