De la salle has been a powerhouse school for as long as I can remember. When I was in HS back in 2000 them and Long Beach Poly were the teams to beat in Cali. And when they played eachother it was massive.

Go watch the movie “When The Game Stands Tall” it will break down the year the win streak ended.

There are a few players who got scholarships largely because they were able to at least hold their own against a school that feels like playing a low tier d3 school in HS. They had a streak at the time that was longer than 12 years, i believe somewhere around 240 straight wins (about 18-20 years' worth of games.)
Srv had a very bad game I’m a supporter bc my brotha went there last year and we suck this year. I was at this game and it was so annoying to watch them get destroyed

My team is very good we went to playoffs my jr year and went to the State Championship my senior year, but De La is just better cuz of more practices and the fact they can recruit whorver they want since they're private school unlike SRV.
De la salle is typically a dominant school in the Bay Area the pretty much shut out all the local teams cause it’s a private school they got better coaching but they aint no undefeated team still they been had that took but as far as de la salle goes in general all their sports are dominant and top contenders lotta talent

De La Salle is not a “regular” HS btw. It’s a private school and they recruit. I live about 40 min away, everybody knows about them. Not flashy football but every player knows their assignment on every play, they are extremely disciplined.
De La Salle is the program that *all* other high school programs model themselves after. De La Salle was the first do the weight training thing year round with insane discipline and a commitment to football and only football. De La Salle is and will always be *THE* gold standard for high school sports.
