GDQ (somewhat modified) will be an option in the world build I am finishing. D-Q sections quite modified but the Gs just need good DMing. I liked the bare bones modules, map roster, locations...GO!
Running my 5E group through Against the Giants now. I’ve run and played it in 1E, this group is definitely approaching it different. So far undiscovered.
Vault of the Drow is probably my favorite module ever, I wouldn't skip it, though I would probably modify or exclude Q1 from the series. Really though a classic adventure path.
Really have no experience beyond 5e version, I did really like the idea of discovering the drow origins and story wise I would assume it makes an epic campaign. Feel free to share any other info you have on the modules beyond Against the giants.
Hey bud, love your videos, really helpful for a fairily new DM like me. I recently ran white plume mountain after watching your previous video and the players thought it was the best session yet. Are you going to cover Dead in Thay? i think i could work it into my campaign as i plan to with this against the giants module. I hope you do because i need the help! Thanks again.
I kinda cover dead in thay in this video ruclips.net/video/UDY70BWKU3E/видео.html but I've never actually ran it. Currently working through ravenloft and hope to have the video out before Halloween. Thanks for the comment.
Have you done one of these on the G2 glacial rift yet? If not can you 🙏. I just started DMing against the giants on roll20 and am really enjoying your vids. Thx
I've only glanced at it. I went straight from g1 to g3. From what I understand you need to fill in a lot of details. I'll probably get to it in the future but right now I'm running through Ravenloft. Thanks for the comment subscribe for more dm tactics.
@@gimpzilla fair enough, hope you do. We just started g1 and we play once a week for only a couple hours so I’m still about a months away from having to roll out G2. I think it looks worthwhile and cold themed adventures are all the craze it seems lately ha. If you have time that’d be much appreciated 😇
You are missing SO much great content by not running the entire Queen of the Spiders super-module. It's even better than the Giants (but well set up by it).

My boi, great post!
Just about to run STK where they fight the fire giants. Thanks for the video.

I appreciate your work. If possible, you should throw some ambient dnd music up in the background. Just a thought.
