The reason that kpop doesn't have an issue with guns in music videos or performances is because guns are illegal in south Korea aka "the good korea" I'm pretty sure that korean police don't even have them. The military have them but that's about it So their props are literally just that props they can't have accidents like we have had in the US on film sets with real guns. And because they are illegal there they don't have to worry about mass shootings, and school shootings. I don't know if that helps, and while I don't necessarily condone their use of prop guns, I also understand that for them it's not a reality in south Korea to be afraid or even affected by gun violence not really.
Love your response. Thanks for taking the time to write all that. I agree that it's simply not a big deal for them as it is here in the U.S. Thank you for watching! - Champagne
So fun fact for you guys if you didn't already know, Bang Chan hand picked every member of this group and brought them together as trainees. So we have him to thank for this AMAZING group of artist!! 🔥🔥 Also the thing about Stray Kids because a trainee (Bang Chan) brought this group together, they create and produce a lot of their own music and ideas and have said again and again, they will only ever write and sing and perform what they want and what they feel needs to be said. They are not afraid to hit topics other K-pop groups don't touch!! Would love to see some more reactions from you!!!
If you’re interested in song making process and practice of this they have BEHIND videos. They also show recording session and producer members directing them. Maybe you can react to this behind the scenes videos it’d be fun -It’s called “BEHIND Ep.04” gods du du It has eng sub.
for next songs I recommend “easy” and “district9” (District9 is their debut song and rock genre). If you want to react more performances like this they have “I’ll be your man” and “wolfgang” kingdom perf.
You know, not against you guys, but rather the general issue, a lot of countries don't need to promote gun safety simply because barely anyone owns one. So just from my point of view I don't even realize or think about what they are doing with the guns because for me it is really only a performance and I never had to think about gun violence other than when I hear news about the US. I honestly don't know how regulations for guns are in Korea, though. So this is not to start any discussion rather just for you to understand that we might not think about how they are holding them and stuff like that 😅😂
Ok so I am like a month? 2 months? late to this video but I just found the channel today and I am making the very (dumb) smart decision to binge your guys' Stray Kids reactions at 2 in the morning. But I just wanted to say thank you both so much for reacting to them, this group is very dear to my heart and well, I always love seeing people fall for Felix XD (first reactions to his voice never get old) And might I also recommend reacting to Stray kids' Wolfgang? Both the Kingdom performance and the Noeasy comeback performance together? I think watching those two videos are perfect to show as to why they need all 8 members in the group Edit: I just realized I might need to elaborate on Wolfgang a bit and why it's a great example as to why all 8 are needed- simply put is that for the Kingdom performance Hyunjin wasn't there (he was on hiatus at the time) so it was only 7 members and then for the Noeasy comeback performance Hyunjin was back and that was the first time anyone saw all 8 performing Wolfgang. The Kingdom performance was great sure but you definitely felt something was missing and then during the comeback and Hyunjin showed up, just the whole energy in the group changed and it felt complete. I think Champagne indicated she listened to Lisa from BlackPink. Most BlackPink videos have billions of views. I would start with “Kill This Love” and their version of “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” which has close to 2 Billion views.
Yes, I have heard some of Lisa's solo stuff, as well as some of the more popular BlackPink songs. They were the first Kpop group I listened to on repeat.
@@virgo_szn I'm not sure if watching original Blackpink's Ddu-Du Ddu-Du is a good idea. That sounds like a huge gun safety violation and Stevie might feel very uncomfortable watching this...

If a Kpop group or solo artist use a gun or other weapon in their MVs or performances it is usually fake (a Toy). For example, Stray Kids are using Toy Guns. You can see the colored end that usually shows that it is a toy. I would love to see a reaction to a Stray Kids Guide: ruclips.net/video/dYS2Bf0a3WA/видео.html. Also, if you see Tattoos on an artist it is usually fake. They cover up the real tattoos a lot of the times. One reason is because it is not allowed to be shown on Korean Television because it sets/shows kids "bad behavior". Also, Please, react to Ateez. Some songs to start are: Say My Name, Hala Hala, Wonderland, Answer, Aurora, Inception, Fireworks (I'm the One), Celebrate, Deja Vu, The Real, Don't Stop, Rocky (Boxers Ver.). These have MVs. Songs without MVs are: Take Me Home, Horizon, Win, Desire, The Leaders, Mist, Precious, One Day at a Time (In English), and To The Beat.
