To me, this is spice best work yet. And don't think because I'm a guy ,and don't think I was looking at the girls ether. Through out the hole video I was mainly focusing on Spice and the work that goes into making the video so spectacular. It's a wicked video, I really like it and I watched it a lot and not getting tired of it. So big up Spice on this one . And also the production crew to put it all together.

What she has done is not only to highlight sexism within dancehall but she has also showcased her versatility and capability to clash any dancehall artist--male or female. Plus, I think it is highly hypocritical for you all to be so quick and willing to call out JA artists for being inspired (not copy) from overseas artist when the likes of Usher, Beyoncé, Ciara and so many other has historically stolen from our cultural expression--dancehall--and you all remain silent!! In Jamaica, while we have a matriarchy society where mothers head our household while most father enjoy some level of free men, for the most part still occupy the most powerful positions. Men are still disproportionality employed in higher ranked position. As someone who use to be one of those women in the dancehall music video, while more (women) are in music videos and the success of the music video normally depends on us, we do not get the pay to match our performance or contributions. Also, as you go higher in the dancehall industry we also see where men occupying the highest rank and getting better pay. I won't even go into the topic of our most Hon. P.M. because I love her but her decisions are flawed and is being directed by a bunch of old rassole MEN who are detached from the younger generation's needs. Also, in the beginning of this song when the interviewers asks Spice about the dancehall business being dominated by men she was actually referring to the system of patriarchy DUPPYBAT. Now if you are going to cite the Queen, the same figure who represents centuries of colonization and oppression for places like Jamaica, as a positive female personality I really shouldn't even be replying to your response. Oh, and I've only ever visited America once. Another thing to consider: being a feminist, a Black feminist who works towards the upliftment of women, especially in the dancehall and Black women should not be understood as something bad suh yuh cyah use dat an cuss mi.
