This is a very informative and nicely explained video to clarify the doubt about game dev and this is definitely helpful for students and beginners or who all want to be a game dev. I'm a professional sound designer and an engineer. And I want to become a game audio programmer in future. I really appreciate your guidance and efforts to understand the field of the gaming industry. How each and every job role in the game industry works. How much work experience is required, your skills, etc. Keep updating and thank you once again for this information. ❤
Honestly I'd be okay working for any type of company but I just don't want to end up making copy paste hyper casual games which are just plaguing the industry currently
Sir can you please make a video on career in game development in 2023 and beyond. I know you made a video on this topic 2 years back but that is 2 years old video. Plz make a fresh video on same with proof because i hear from lot of people and some students that career options in this field is getting less and roles and paying is also less. I m confused by hearing these. Infact i want to become a game programmer and i have talked to some students from your course like those who are working person and got graduated from college, their opinions are, there is no good career in this field anymore. So plz make a fresh new video on this topic with proof. Plz sir 🙏
This career is probably not for you. If you need so much proof it means you lack commitment and confidence and therefore I would say forget about Game programming and do something else that is trendy and people say has good chances of success.
@@RahulSehgalG2M web development or any "regular IT job" is a well paid and more secure field than game programming. You're right, if anyone ask if he/she become a game developer then yes they shouldn't. There are lot of high paying and low stressful programming jobs out there.
Sir can you list good Game industries in India. i am in my final year with some few games that I made from youtube and Udemy. So can you list top 20 companies where I can apply. I also want to work in games like PUBG PC, Cyberpunk, GTA etc so I'll follow your path.
I studied bca but got backlogs in last sem in 2023 ,and I don't want to complete bca for personal reasons, how can I get into game dev?im also learning unity and made some projects,
I've started my game dev journey in class 11th although my first game was at the age of 11 but only now have i started taking it seriously, im building experience and earning a little as well, should i consider going abroad for graduation if i have a good portfolio by then.
I'm studying BCA but I want to be a game developer in Japan (and naturalise there permanently, like a true immigrant). These definitely work for there but for Japan or even Europe you must master their language, perhaps a language school (as studying there helps a lot). Also, while mobile gaming is famous here. I've seen multiple Laptop (PC) gamers so that's one more thing.
@@RahulSehgalG2M Actually I am in Class 12 now and planning a future in A Game Studio as a programmer. So I might need your help real soon to guide me in my journey . Thanks for the advice . I want more advice from you Sir but this is not the right time .

its not worth the effort. when i studied at vfs the document/diploma you get from that institution only works to clean your ass when you run out of paper. if i was aware of that i would have studied other shit to get a job in canada. when i see some canadian guys getting jobs just beacuse they born in that country, they did not even finished hi school, life is not fair but at the same time my aunt did an extraoirdinary effort to pay my tuttition. So for what? my level not was high but i was a student not a pro. but the guys that had those jobs wherent better than myself. not inly that microsoft just shut donw 2 game studios like if they were garbage. if you can afford it go gamedev solo, or indi studio. what was the last game that i played that was actually fun? Eldeng ring, and tekken 8. sorry but thats the truth.
Well, its mostly connections and networking. However i do think a course speeds up the process, specially if its with other students that can become your future contacts, or you can help them later. Another thing is the game indsutry (and entertainment) is in a bad states, so maybe take this time to sharpen your skills, so whwn the marketing is open again, you can smash the competición .

Nothing like that
Watch RUclips tutorial then start to read your engine documentation
