I have this in blue. Stunning. Quality is outstanding. I genuinely look forward to wearing this as much as my Omega, Rolex and Tudor. Planning to get the orange strap when available.
As long as Mido keeps making 40 mm plus size watches. I can only wear them on my mind. There are a lot of slim wristed watch lovers out there wishing for 35 mm quality Swiss time pieces.
Really like the look, but that movement… it’s my understanding that this movement has a plastic escapement… Also, external anti-reflective sapphire often ends up looking streaked…
It’s people like you I’m glad i check the comments section 😆 That’s some valuable information in determining whether I get this watch or not. The plastic escapement with the streaking makes this a hard pass. Unfortunate, because I really love this design 😭
@@euiinhong2363 This specific caliber doesn't use the plastic (or as ETA calls it "synthetic") escapement. The C07 caliber is divided in 3 tiers: C07.1** = Synthethic (plastic) escapement, this is what you find in the PRX. C07.6** = Regular jeweled escapement, this is the specific movement for this MIDO watch. This tier is also used a lot by Rado. C07.8** = Silicon hair spring, this is what you can find on higher end Tissot watches like the gentleman or higher end MIDOs like the Ocean Stars.
@@euiinhong2363 The problem with relying on comments is that many people say things that simply aren't true. This absolutely, positively does NOT use the "High-Tech Escapement" made from engineered plastic. Do research, educate yourself, but DO NOT rely on RUclips comments.

I love this watch, been ages since I really wanted a watch.

I really like this watch, a bit too much flowery marketing verbiage but a detailed if not very critical review,
Great! My Aquanaut alternatives.
Actually I think the aquanaut took inspiration from the mido
Very nice and very unique 👌
It's unique but I'm on the fence... the gray is the best color way.
me too on the fence . what color have you finally picked?
Hi, I am on your website. Can I buy a bracelet if I purchase the watch on a strap? The only bracelet mido sells is for the ocean star.
That’s my question as well. I really want both. Lol. The blue band and a bracelet.
Thanks for well detailed video !
Great video, straight to the point with all the specs 🎉
Can we buy rubber strap separately? Got mine in steel bracelet. A rubber strap alternative would be great
I wonder how would the blue watch look like with the orange strap?
🔥
We need day display 💁
No thanks.
👍
They could have used lume on the big date arabics. Really dropped the ball there in my opinion.
Thinner case with smaller date and you would have an absolute banger!
The proper spelling is on the watch display... How do you even screw it up?
Looked at this. No way it's worth £1000

Something wrong with the big date execution from a proportion stand point.
So it's inspired by a TV and here I was thinking it copied the Aquanot
Muitiford 😂😂😂 You should at least spell the name correctly 😅
Faquanaut
MIDO and Tissot did it first.
Mido actually did it first
