Sweet list. I can only speak for myself, but I wouldn’t mind a longer list next year, at least top 20 or 25. You have a knack for succinct but thorough overviews that move the list along nicely.
Thank you! Yeah I really enjoyed that record, but it didn't really move me like these ones did and when you only have ten, you gotta let go of some of your babies
The albums ive really fell in love this year are sampha - lahai mitski - the land is inhospitable and so are we navy blue - ways of knowing and earl sweatshirt voir dire
Absolutely love Jessie's album. If only she would come around to my neck of the woods on tour. I didn't realize Young Fathers had an album out this year. I'll have to check that out along with the Black Pumas and all the other stuff on this list. This is my go-to channel for discovering new music. I find the picks are usually within my listening wheelhouse. (Nice tux, by the way.)
Very minor point, I really appreciate that pretty much all of the albums on the list are short. Makes me really more inclined to give them all a go! Merry Christmas Geek
‘Not enough for a top 10 but here are definitely my top 3! - King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard: PetroDragonic Apocalypse… - Frankie & the switch Fingers: Data Doom - Osees: Intercepted Message
Hey, an interesting list. May check out a few of these.... 0/10 shared with you. Here's my top 5: 1 Hinako Omori - Stillness, Softness... 2 Blackcarburning - Watching Sleepers 3 Brutalist Architecture in the Sun - Loneliness Kills 4 Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark - Bauhaus Staircase 5 Warrington Runcorn New Town Development Plan - The Nation's Most Central Location 🎹🖤🎹🖤🎹
Kinda crazy how many bands I love dropped great records this year. Movements, Fall Out Boy, The Front Bottoms, Blink 182, Paramore, Wilder Woods, NEEDTOBREATHE, probably even more I'm missing. What a wild year for music.
Hey there! I’m new here and so happy to find someone with a year end list that thinks outside the box. You’ve exposed me to so many records with this 10 that I will be checking out now. I will be subscribing and following, great vibe here! OH, and I will be seeing Say She She in a couple months at a 500 capacity club in the high desert! Can’t wait!
Hey Mr Vinyl Rewind am loving your show, its always entertaining and informative. During your top 10 of 2023 I wondered if you had heard of a London band called FYLTE they have just released at the end of 2023 their 3rd and self titled album. If you haven't heard it yet I would recommend you check it out. They are are friends with Bombay BC, whose drummer Suren de Saram has been FLYTE's drummer on tour for last couple of years. Their new album is very beautiful and for me was my favorite LP of 2023. Keep up the good work I look forward to many more shows.
I hardly listen to any of these kinds of artists. This video is like walking into a Tower Records as they play bands you never heard of before. It’s great to have that feeling again seeing new artists with amazing albums. Thanks for opening my eyes and ears. The only thing close is listen to would be Jamiroquai..Amazing video. Have a great Christmas and New Year
I outlined my top 10 on my channel, but I gotta say that I was thoroughly impressed with the new Blonde Redhead album "Sit Down For Dinner." I think it is their best work since 2007's "23" or even "Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons" from 2000.
While I didn't have a top ten, my number one album for this year has to go to "Variety Pack" by "Mustard Service". Album was so good it kickstarted a love for Indie Rock, the album is a great short and sweet listen filled to the brim with different genres and sounds. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Thanks for this video! It’s so easy to get stuck in the same old familiar records, now I have some fresh new stuff to explore- it’s fantastic, great work! Really dig the Black Pumas , probably would have never heard them except for this review.
Sweet list. I can only speak for myself, but I wouldn’t mind a longer list next year, at least top 20 or 25. You have a knack for succinct but thorough overviews that move the list along nicely.
Surprised Lemon Twigs - Everything Harmony isn’t on your list. It’s right up your street, big 70s throwback great songwriting
Thanks for the warning, this makes this list invalid. I like his picks though.
I love that tux. LOVE! Cool list of stuff I am definitely going to check out. Thank you and happy holidays! (PS I thought Wet Leg would make the list)
Thank you! Yeah I really enjoyed that record, but it didn't really move me like these ones did and when you only have ten, you gotta let go of some of your babies
That *Say She She* record is absolutely my fave for the year. Very glad to see it crop up here!
Your opinions on the best albums, singles, etc. are the only opinions I 100% respect because I know I can trust your opinion
Nice to see Jessie and Say She She here!
What's the problem with an hr+ long video from you? Nothing
While I do not think our tastes overlap much, I love your passion for music and the way you discuss it.

Given what I’ve gathered from your musical taste…how the hell is The Lemon Twigs - Everything Harmony not on this list?!
Fr
The new Queens of the Stone Age album was pretty good, and the new Lana del Rey album was excellent.
I was pleasantly surprised at how good the new Queens album is.
Amazing picks - I love The South Hill Experiment!
Damn, dude--that recommendation for Jessie Ware is just what I needed. Cheers! 💙

The Immortal Samsara Travelers - Hanging Gardens in Glacial Apocha
Curious if you checked out the new Geese record 3d country. Based on your picks here I feel like you'd dig it.
last year’s list made me check out Alvvays, and this one has put me onto Jessie Ware: thanks!
Awesome video as always!
I’ve heard of none of these people. Back to Crosby, Stills & Nash. Yes……I’m old.
Excellent!

Oh shoot I meant to listen to that Wild Nothing album oops! 😅 really liked their last one.
