These types of diesel heaters will last for many years if you clean them. Mine is going strong with zero issues. The only maintenance that needs to be done is to take it apart and clean out the soot once a year. Cleaning out the soot from the chamber is necessary if you constantly use it at high altitudes or use dirty fuel.
How’s the noise from the fuel pump? The constant loud ‘tick-tick’ of other models is the most annoying thing with these. I have 2 8Kw Hcalory ones I’ve been running last few years and they’re great, but would be better without the constant ticking of the fuel pump which is near impossible to illuminate.
@GeeBeeMike I have heard of ticking being loud on other models, but in my opinion, it is not loud at all on mine. I honestly forget that I have a fuel pump because it is so quiet. I would say that the sound of the fan and ticking is minimal!
@ctclimberguy34 I have had it in light rain and had no problem at all. I personally would wrap the controller in a zip lock bag if you think it's going to rain. Great Question, thanks!
@TravisWilds I believe it is 4 foot long and very rigid. I didn't bother with the short hose at all. I just ordered the longer hose at the same time I ordered the Heater because I knew I was going to need it.
@mitchellbowman4393 The controller cord is very short, less than 12 inches. I guess it was only meant to be pulled out for replacement. The control that operates the heater is wireless and works from 20 feet away.
hi, is the fan very noisy?? would it bother a vehicle parked 2 meters away?? I would like to use it at my son's motorbike races, but usually the vans are 2-3 meters from each other, I'm afraid it will disturb.
@4WDisLife Once you press the power button to turn it off, it has a built-in timer that will run the fan for a minute until it cools off. This unit actually has some really nice features.
I wish your video gets millions of views because you have great content. Try running ads for your channel using some kind of system.
Not sure how long it last but this heater works really good and uses less fuel than my RV propane furnace

Great video. This is prob the best video I have seen on this heater. After watching this I purchased it. I hope you post more about it later!
@keithschubert3164 I had to make it because I was having a hard time finding one. Thanks for the comment!
Great heater have the same one heating my 36 ft trailer little power house very quiet
Does the thermostat work well? Shut on / off when needed?
@darrent3869 yea it dose works really good
You have it inside the trailer out out side and ducted going into the trailer. I'm thinking about getting one for my 6x12 enclosed trailer

Is the controller waterproof to leave ouside to duct heat into a temt or truck camper?

How long is duct work that came with it? Would you recommend using it or just buying the other right away

@@osvaldodavia8844 Nope! Once you put the muffler on, it's really quiet! That's one of my favorite things about it.
awesome stuff, is there a turn off routine for these ? I have heard that you can't just unplug ? Thanks!
