A great bit of advice I have for first years for breaking the ice on your first days of halls is getting a door stop! We all had our door open almost the whole day and it made it so much easier to get to know each other

My years as Fresher's Crew were so much better than my actual Fresher's week because I was so much more at ease. I was lucky with textbooks as a lot of mine were available online and I had a Saturday job all through uni. That, and learning how to budget, kept me pretty comfortable and I never had to dip into an overdraft!

Ah! That's so funny! I'm from Canada and my best friend is too, but she went to Nottingham Uni for 3rd year and when I visited her we totally went to Ocean nightclub!! And people were dressed up as smurfs like EVERY NIGHT out and we found it so hilarious and weird!
Could either of you please do a video on the procedure for bringing products back from the U.S. or if you have a blog post on it that would be so helpful. I'm going to LA soon and it would be great to know what I can and can't bring back and basically just how it works! Please! I love both of you, and would trust any advice you have.
I love how many youtubers went to uni of Notts! Ocean Friday's on that sticky dance floor are the worst, but definitely a right of passage for any notes student! This video has made me so excited to get back to uni in a few weeks :) x

Loved this so much! Though it did bring up some not so happy memories from school. My first year away was horrendous, the girls that lived in the rooms right next to mine were really cruel and just constantly bullied me because I wasn't into drinking every night. I ended up going home every weekend because I couldn't take it. Luckily the next year my flatmates were amazing and it made everything so much better!
