This would be lit Nikola jokic, boban marjanovic,bogdan bogdanovic, milos teodosic,nemania bejalica, dario saric, iviga zubac, bojan bogdanovic, mario hezonja, goran dragic and luca doncic will teamed up for one team.
Juice Ku Lurd at that time Yugoslavia contained only of Serbia and Montenegro, the old complete yugoslavia with mixed national team existed only till 1991, these are all serbs. But I get your point, the finals from the last european championship between Slovenia with 2m people and Serbia with 7m people speak for them self.

Where is Vlade Divac and Predrag Danilovic? Also Peja Stojakovic was only 21 years old buck then so he did'nt play against his second country Greece! I am Greek but i love Serbian orthodox brothers and sisters! They are the real superpower of European basketball! Croats are very talented but neither of their nba players have reached nba all star level! Dario Saric, Mario Hezonja, Ivica Zubac , Ante Zizic are only starters or either second unit players! Muslims have Jusuf Nurkic & Dzanan Musa very good players. But the best is LUKA DONCIC from Slovenja and i think he is already better than Giannis!
Danilović had serious ankle problems and couldn't go because he had to get surgery, he injured it badly at EuroBasket '97 and it was bothering him pretty much until the end of his career.
Divac was basically forbidden to go because the NBA lockout was in full effect by that point.
great team basketball by Greece ...but the difference in individual quality was evident from the start......the game of basketball has produced some epic and classy commenting...unfortunately these FIBA commentators never succeeded in getting even close, they were and still are unable to get the names right .."Skapanovic"? ..wonder why they stick w Jeff Taylor up to this day....the officiating of this match was abominable
Papanikolaou as always a very low to mediate player...all the game was lost to the 2 consecutive free throws from him...thank God I was 10 then and didnt get to see this live...

In the 80s and 90s Yugoslavia dominated Europe. USSR, Greece, Italy, Spain regularly lost to Yugo in that era.
Yes the dark ages of Basketball before spain clown fiesta strings when the yugoslavian lobby had to play with 3 refs in their favour while having a dream team is not enough.

Stvarno mi nije jasna stalna kuknjava na sudjenje...jednostavno u tom periodu smo bili bolji za klasu...skoro sam slušao izjavu danilovića da nas nisu čak ni na utakmicama zatvorenog tipa koje smo igrali u vreme sankcija nikad dobili

@@SuperVojnovic Dear Steva, I am aware of the situation, but in basketball terms Yogoslavia was still in command, which makes sense as they had people in key posistions, and also as we all know the refs most times are in favor of the better/stronger team, and here opbviously the favorit is Yugoslavia.
No one can deny the quality that these teams had, it is undeniable, but refs should exactly leave a chance for the ousider to go for the victory.
If ,again i say, you would give time to see the complete match I am sure you will understand what I mean.
