Great advice that seems so relevant to me and how my brain is wired. Im not even homeschooling yet but want to start trying these things in other areas of my life. Thanks for the encouragement and practical tips!
As one who is currently self diagnosing myself with ADD and Executive Dysfunction, I'm loving on your tips! I am very scattered, easily distracted, sometimes unmotivated because I'm so overwhelmed... Looking for all the help I can get!
@@JoyfulNoiseLearninghave you seen the "mc squares" products? I've not tried them, but they're on my list of wants. All sorts of reusable dry erase products, lists and "sticky notes", etc. Maybe you could get husband onboard😅
Thank you for your videos. Your channel is perfectly named. I don't use a the same resources or really have similar aged children or anything, but I think you are so encouraging and so full of joy. I like to watch you because I know it will be something helpful and uplifting. Thank you!!
I love the tip of giving yourself an end goal and a time limit. I could definitely use that in my life. I only recently began to realize how easily distracted I am. Now I'm trying to deal with it and stay on task to finish things.
I’m so glad you are coming to notice those things and work on growth. It’s so discouraging when you feel like things will never end!! Praying for you 💕
Thanks for the tips! I am very much scattered brain! Just wanted to say I have that Tactics book by Greg Koukl! And have the illuminated scripture journaling book set! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for the great tips! I can identify! When teaching public school my add wasn't as much of a problem bc everything was so prescribed from the schedule, to the curriculum. Now, with freedom comes a whole host of temptations🤣 I will definitely try block scheduling. And I do keep my planner open on the counter at all times! If it's not open it doesn't exist 👍
Ha ha!! You get it!! I was pretty young when I was teaching public school, and I didn’t know how to manage myself, let alone the classroom!! Classroom management was my biggest struggle and, frankly, was one of the things that led me to not teaching any more 😬
So you are working and Homeschooling and homemaking.. you are my hero!!:) I just took on a parttime job on Monday.. I'm grateful for this job but I'm also a homeschool mom .. I don't want to quit Homeschooling but I'm having my doubts about my ability to handle both.. any tips?? I'm working 4 hrs a day .. do u think it can be done??
Hi, all these tips are great! I am wondering how do set and plan your schedule? Like how long do you give yourselves to get a subject done, breaks, etc? I’m terrible with time and over or underestimating how much time we need
