I enjoy watching oak on the mill. You never know what you'll get. Almost always very nice though. Black walnut is another really beautiful one. Keep the sawdust flying guys!!
Just after sharpening the cut-off saw blade, then the knee solenoid starts to act up. It never ends but that's how a saw mill rolls. Great video and birthday wishes for grandma.
That’s what I like about y’all’s channel y’all keep it real . Everyone has bad days and equipment acting up just makes it worse. But you got through it. Thanks for the video I’m looking forward to the next one with that big log . Watching y’all from Northeast Georgia.
I'm 53yrs old and I love watching saw mill videos especially the circle saw mill videos the wood mizer videos are ok but you just can't beat a good'ol circle saw mill the old hand turning or hydrolic ones it don't matter to me!
One thing you might want to keep in the dog house is a can of CRC Contact Cleaner. Awhile back we had a guy wash and paint our house and he had a piece of a pressure washer and PIECE was a very loose term. Leaked water like a sieve and was really hard on our water system, especially the pressure switch. I went to check it and it was almost black. I went to the local ACE and got a spray can of that stuff, sprayed the whole thing down with it and it ended up looking brand new and worked perfectly from then on. Pricey but good! A bigger blade would mean slabs and boards lodging between the saw blade and that PIPE suspending all the wires and hydraulic supply lines. NOPE! And a bus motor truck governor is just a top end revs deal and the other works holding steady r.p.m. all the way up, a variable I guess it'd be called. Good sawing in spite of the sticky switch. A-PLUS and HI to Atomic Mark and Captain Horvath. That IS cool! God Bless!
Nice work even though it was a little bit of a struggle. Very handy when you can fix most problems yourself. Personally I don’t think you need to add music, the sawing is interesting enough in itself, just my 2 Penneth
There is a contact point in the switch that gets corroded it happens sometimes. You might be able to clean it. Still a good video with a nice boom. Thank you.👍

Alas poor Radio Shack has gone away. I’m sure your local big box store, auto parts or internet provider offers a contact cleaner spray that could be used on your buttons and their connections at both rend. Radio Shack used to offer a terrific product and I’m hoarding my last small can, using a drop at a time on hearing aids, Fitbit and other “smart devices” with contacts susceptible to corrosion. ZZ Mark looks anorexic and gaunt. Sure hope he is recovering from the tic bite. Thanks for watching Paul! Big difference in how the chop saw cut. You can see the fine saw dust blowing out the back and all over me! Sounds cleaner too!
Thank for watching Jerry! With 3 1/2” boards getting cut, I would have to go really slow with the saw blade before the sharpening. Now I can feel the blade actually cutting rather than tearing the wood. Big improvement. And the saw dust is much finer with the blade actually cutting the fibers.
Huge difference in so many ways. “Like a hot knife thru cold butter!” Mark said the saw dust in the drum is even different than before the sharpening. Sounds different too!! Thanks Bill!

Finally found something Mark doesn’t know how to do- hand pack grease into a roller bearing. You just put a dollop of grease into your palm and press the wide end of the bearing down into it to force the grease up thru the rollers til it comes out the top of the cage. Then rotate the bearing to the next part without grease and do it again and gain (adding grease to your palm when needed) until you’ve gone the complete 360 degrees and the cage is full. They also have bearing greasers that you just put the bearing into and press down on it and in seconds the entire bearing is full. Very cool video on the swing saw too.
