    I really hope this'll make it's way to other types of C# apps too.

    You all continue to amaze!!! They said this is for Azure VM, will this work with Azure App Service web apps?

      Thanks for the feedback! We are looking at a variety of Azure Scenarios to expand into with TTD

    Seems extremely useful. Pity it isn't available for Azure App Services or just any plain VM other than an Azure VM

    When you ran the project, Did you had to stop Azure live server for the first time ?
    I know it won’t stop you when you are debugging.. just wondering whether it will stop for the first time when you ran ?

      when you attach the snapshot debugger in azure a snapshot o of the state of the process is taken but the process continue to work

      You are correct under normal circumstances there is no restart, however, the first time you select Attach Snapshot Debugger for your VM, IIS is automatically restarted.

      We are focused on Azure scenarios but also understand the has broad appeal of TTD. Keep the feedback coming it really helps us determine priorities.

    If we are inserting any Data in this function and when we do Time Travelling Debugging then does it perform Data insertion process again in Production Database ?

    • @markdownie2851
      @markdownie2851 5 лет назад

      No. We are replaying the recording only, so if you did an DB insert while recording that will not be repeated.
