I won't lie, Imperishable Night has the most "nostalgic sounding" or "aesthetically pleaseing" music in the entire series.

That true , all touhou songs are pretty nice but i find the ost from touhou 8 mote catchy i don't know why
I know IN gets alot of gripe about being the easiest in the series but goddamn....The music, the story, and the characters really win it for me.
"Easiest in the series" - yeah, I have to disagree with that.
But then again, I suck at danmaku shooters.
Music, though... It is beautiful, yes.
Yeah, Scarlet Weather Rhapsody felt easier than IN.
@@user-tp5vz4jj1r I used to think the same way, though I've improved quite a bit. I made my return to touhou recently and played IN, 1ccd with two lives remaining first try.
its the easiest in the series no question for the majority, including me. most people start out with it making the game feel much harder than it is.
is it just me or Touhou 6 and 7 and 10 and also TD is alot easier than th 8.. but then again i played only on normal
@@KaylaaYukooo IN is hard for me purely coz marisa(i use reimu) and stage 6A/B
for 6A u could skip with continues and 6B u can practice, but using continues in 6A also enables 6B so if ur going for IN 1cc good ending normal then i recommend doing that
i think its similar difficulty as eosd but PCB youmu just so stupidly hard for me ;p
in terms of bullet hell difficulty 10 is definitely harder for me but it has like so many bombs

@@Mafube_Molange Its a sampled orchestra done in a software The audio and mixing quality is no where near that of an actual orchestra. And as I much as I wish it was possible, there's no way a doujin circle that mainly sells at comiket would be able to hire a 50+ piece orchestra to perform their music.

Never played any of "Touhou" games (and honestly i don't think i'd like it) but enjoy the soundtrack very much, this one and "Subterranean Animisim" in particular. Thanks a bunch for uploading!

IN is better for beginners just because of the extra time for bomb in focus mode
When the title music started, I'm not lying, chills went through my spine... Imperishable Night was the first touhou game that I've played, and the title screen theme was always my favorite. Thank you for creating such a beautiful work.
Theme of Eastern Story should be the Gensokyo National Anthem.

And that's an amazing attribute I find in Touhou music. You can pretty much arrange any Touhou piece into another music style and still have it sound great. I have yet to find another group of music with the capacity of spawning so many unique remixes and arrangements.

Just kidding, this is great. Would have loved to see that one included though. It's one of my favorites. It's a stage theme though, and I guess that makes sense since none of the other ones made it in either.

The atmosphere of the first song really reminds me of the Waterfall BGM in Undertale, it's beautiful and melancholy. I suppose that's not surprising since Toby Fox was inspired by the Touhou soundtracks.
