Somewhat relatable. Although ice hockey isn't big in Australia. We had a "beer league" indoor cricket team. It was called 6 pack cricket. The team with most runs gets a 6 pack. One for each player. However, we would be drunk before the match.
But, now we all getting older. Life, family and work has pretty killed it for us 😢😂

I remember having a boss - Detroit area - who played in a league like this - often he had games the night before one of our executive team meetings - based on how many cuts and bruises he had in the morning - sometimes with blood dribbles on his white shirt - determined how badly the meetings would go (we rarely had good ones).
The type of guy who would come to work bleeding after a beer league game sounds like the exact type to have consistently bad meetings. Haha what a clown!
