i own fortuner and you are right , due to small def tank and it consumes like water thirst . its pain in the ass but i am very much surprised that scorpio n gives range of 12-13k km its more than 4 times of range of diesel fortuner . KUDOS TO MAHINDRA 👍👍
I am planning to buy the new Thar ROXX AT version. I drive average 10k-12k kms per year. I own 2 other petrol cars. I mostly drive in Bangalore city. Occasional highway, once a month or so. Will there be DPF issues if I get the Thar for daily use, or keep ideal for long & use less or drive in city traffic everyday? What do you suggest? should I buy petrol or diesel car?
Preferably bs6 diesel vehicles shouldnt be driven in heavy traffic and cities for long time. Because as carbon soot accumulates in dpf with time. It doesn't happen in 2-3 days of city driving. So you can use it occassionally or randomly as you have two petrol cars too. Use thar roxx for a mix of open roads and cities 👍
Also you mentioned you have two petrol cars, i think its best go buy diesel vehicle because may be these are the last diesel cars you can use in big cities. Due to Nitin gadkari ji's over enthusiasm of seeing european standard cars in a african standard infra country 😂

Sir! ham emergency satuation mai kya kar skte hai dpf hatane k liye....yadi manually nhi ho raha hai...kya hm khadi gadi ko parking brake laga kar neutral mai gadi ko accelerate karen aur 2500 rpm pr to kya dpf hatega ya nhi jankari den👏👏👏

There is no particular data, it depends on cars and their capcity.
