Do you live in the States? I lived in my Corolla with a 70 lb dog who got the back seat, leaving my only living area, the driver's seat. I never knew legs could swell as big as mine did from sleeping in a reclined sitting position. (Omg, the knee pain!) Routine: wake up at dawn, take dog out, feed dog, put away pillows/blankets. Drive to McDonalds for coffee. Turn on computer and start looking for jobs and homes and any kind of government assistance for jobs, homes, food, health services, for those with disabilities. Go to park and walk dog or dog park and spend time in nature on trail just healing. Drive to Florida (or from Florida to Georgia). Once I got a job, I just added: drop dog off at daughters apt while I worked, and wash self and clothes in her (my) machines. I got lucky? when a crazy driver slammed into my car and landed me with just enough money to put down on a fixer upper on 8 acres in central Georgia. Been here since. Can't wait to get a tiny home so I can go back to a minimalist lifestyle - on my own land this time. Keep your chin up. It took me two years in the car and two years of renting rooms here and there, to find that land/house.
Don't let this video fool you. Living like this is hell. She is clean for this short video. Actually living like this would be an insane battle of constantly cleaning. Ask me how I know... Living in a car is dystopian and sucks. People deserve at least a damn shack, which we as a society could easily do if we wanted. We totally could build cheap shacks with simple heating systems at least.
No toilet, no shower. As a woman with clean freak, I find this living arrangement extremely challenging. I can't be getting out of my car that's parked out there and going to a public bathroom at the the de*d of the night. Not to mention I live in a third world country. Not the safest place for women.

As someone who has lived in a car for two years( not by choice ) this is so cool how you literally made it a mini home and less depressing than I ever could 😅❤
I don't think anyone does this "by choice"
Do you live in the States? I lived in my Corolla with a 70 lb dog who got the back seat, leaving my only living area, the driver's seat. I never knew legs could swell as big as mine did from sleeping in a reclined sitting position. (Omg, the knee pain!)
Routine: wake up at dawn, take dog out, feed dog, put away pillows/blankets.

The average RPM for Van life genre on RUclips is insanely high compared to other topics. Most RPM is in the single digits while van life is 2 digits.. There's a reason why people LARP the van life. People are so clueless saying she is homeless ;the reality is that she is working in a asian country where they work crazy shifts .She clearly has thermal food on these contains and runs all her stuff either through a generator or the lights have battery on it already .She doesn't live on it she just uses it as a hotel capsule when she doesn't want to go home .

I lived out of my conversion van in the heart of NYC in the 90’s and it was awesome! I did it because I was working out there and would be there for only 1-2 weeks at a time and I would save the stipend money instead of getting a hotel. I would get up each morning and go the gym. I could workout and shower. If you need a bathroom then you go into the lobby of a hotel. Had a little porta potty in the van for quick bathroom breaks. It was great! I never had an issue and it was cozy and an experience I loved to have.
A hotel, if you were in the city there’s bathrooms on every corner. Now of course only hotel that let none customers use bathrooms are the flophouse ones
@Klapback go back in the 90s. The hotels were always open, and if it was usually in the middle of the night, the front desk never said anything anyways. They were also be the cleaner of the bathrooms throughout the city.😝

That’s pretty cool! Just one question. Where do you go to the bathroom when it’s late and you wake up and have to go?
You can always pretend you have a cat.
I lived in an suv for a few weeks while traveling before. I would keep a small trash can in the car to pee in at night, dump it outside, rinse it with bottled water, put it in a plastic bag until I could disinfect it and let it dry in the sun the next day. It worked well for me.
Living that way is for young people who can go through the night without needing a bathroom.
