Wood Wus is singular and Wood Wose is plural, it's Saxon in origin. Wood Wose are always shown in historic carvings carrying sticks for hitting trees or people? That looked like a piece of Badger pelt in that tree, typical Wood Wose dinner. You have definitely stumbled across something new here with flint tools, perhaps all researchers should be looking out for these. On your next expedition look for smooth round pebbles.
