Love this. The large letters with mixed media background is outstanding. Your pictures seem to jump out on this page, even with the ephemera surrounding it. Like the way you used the washi tape. As always, another interesting and wonderful layout! Wish you would do an album share of your trip. ❤❤❤
That word is AMAZING. So bright. Certainly do the challenge. Q: why first transparant and than the gold. Just for hight? Love all the colors jumping of the background with all the white. And agree about the washiparts in the mixmedia
Thanks so much, sweet Karin! I sure appreciate it! I used the regular texture paste first to help prevent the paper glaze from bleeding under the stencil. The texture paste filled the gaps, so when I put the glaze down, it sits on top of the texture paste. It’s not a necessary step if you don’t mind lots of bleeding, but because paper glaze tends to be thinner (more liquidy), it helps tremendously!🧡🩵💛
Thank you again Sarah for your candid sharing while you create, I swear I thought it took you only about an hour to whip these layouts out!!! LOL. Anyway, it makes me feel better knowing that you spend more time than I thought. I am new to mixed media (love it and really want it to turn out) put I am soooo slow at it. I belong to the VBoo crew on Facebook as well not sure enough of myself to post much yet. Thank you again for your teaching I really learn a lot watching your process. Love the giant title and the supporting photos giving me ideas! Thank you again.
Thank you so much, Denise! I loved reading this! I am definitely NOT a fast scrapper!! For me, the process of creating is the best part that I enjoy the most, so I never rush it! We would love to see what you make, so when you feel ready, the Vboo crew will be happy to see it!!🩵🧡💛
