First thing the new immigrants has to understand is that, off the boat you won't be getting the same job as you were doing back home. If you were manager or supervisor back home and wants the same level of job here as your first job then you are s**t out of luck. First thing is to do is gain Canadian work experience. You can apply in Costco, Walmart, dollar store or in gas station in places like that as a start, then gain Canadian experience before applying for the job. Make sure your resume is in Canadian format without picture, caste, religion, height, weight and all that. Make sure you tap in all resources to get additional certification for the job you are looking for if that is needed. It takes time, dedication and patience. All the very best.
