Someone said this on another person’s reaction, but Luffy’s nonchalance on Ace’s Vivre card isn’t just because he hasn’t heard the news yet, but he probably thinks he’s just in a tough fight and nothing more. If Ace had a Vivre Card from Luffy, it’d likely be burning like crazy during fights the likes of Oars/Moria, Crocodile, and Lucci, so it stands to reason Luffy just believes he’s in a tough scrape that he’ll win in the end. (Which makes sense since Ace is tougher and has more experience)

And also makes a lot more sense when Luffy decided to save Ace after he heard of the execution as now he is sure that Ace isn’t just in some tough fight and is about to lose his life for real

I love that moment where Usopp, Franky, and Chopper build Brook's former crew a grave, and Zoro comes to pay his respects to his sword and the Rumbar Pirates. These lads are so compassionate, and they keep picking up like-minded strays :,)

"I'm glad to be alive"... One of the most beautiful and sad thing Brook said at the same time. The levels of meaning and those tears, both happy and sad...amazing dialogue !! Also, Brook is the only member who give himself a formal introduction and a pledge !! Luffy has a talent for finding broken toy and lost souls...
I start tearing up when I see that scene every time
I always get chills from those giant monsters, they are just so mysterious and once you remember how big Thriller Bark is, the fact that it is several times larger is actually crazy. They are wider than islands, and tens of thousands of meters tall. And the narrator speaking while the eyes appear from the fog, it still creeps me the hell out.
Yet it has never been mentioned or shown ever again

I think it’s just supposed to be a touch of cosmic horror. We’ll never learn more about them and that’s what makes it so creepy. That’s there’s something truly out there in the Florian triangle we’ll never understand. If it was ever explained it would loose all of its punch

A lot of thing about the straw hat and luffy is related to the sun, it was on our nose the entire time, not to mention the sun god is the natural enemy of the darkness fruit and also the enemy of god.
“I’m glad to be alive!” Oh man this line breaks me every time I see it. It’s so happy and sad at the same time. I can’t stop thinking about how much Brook wanted to give up all those long decades, how lonely he was and how.. well.. depression he must had been but he kept going for Laboon until the day he became truly happy that he’s still alive.
so many small things that get important later, the little wristband luffy got out of the treasure, the vivre card lola gave to nami, the shadows behind thriller bark, morias backstory with kaido and ryuma. thriller bark is a big setup

That thing with the giant shadows is the Narrator pointing out that Thriller Bark has only been in the Flourian Triangle for a small amount of years, while the Triangle has always been known to be a dangerous place, so something other than Thriller Bark is responsible for the legends.
It got me thinking if Laboon started hitting his head against the grand line trying to reach Brook because he felt his desperation/lonlines, since now it seems to be relief and in a good mood.

Damn i totally forgot they name dropped Hancock in this episode. And to answer your question, No she is not related to the 4 emperors. Its a confusion caused by translation. The 4 emperors are called yonkou, which literally translates to 4 emperors. She is just called the pirate empress and according to many she is the best damn waifu in One Piece. Oh and also you gonna find out in about 400 ep or so who Lola's mom really is and in around 650 episodes the story about Ace's vivre card. Just usual One Piece things

next arc is god tier arc in one piece, it is the one of the shortest arcs with roller coaster of emotions. introduces hell of a new characters, still it never gets boring. dont forget that punch 😂

Brook very quickly joined Robin as my other favorite Straw Hat. He's incredibly goofy, but when he gets a badass moment, it's one hell of a badass moment. I also really love his fighting style, and it only gets better with time. Fencing with a musical theme to it makes for some really stylish movesets.
Just so you know, the mystery of the florial triangle is still a mystery till today
