I think the most impressive part is that it would only leave a crater of 1km in diameter. There are so many bigger craters caused by asteroids and its just humbling to know how little we as humans are in the universe
It kind of had the opposite effect on me, I thought it'd just kick up a little dust and only affect a very tiny part of the moon, since I'm used to thinking of humans being so small to the point of having no power to affect anything beyond a human scale, but seeing all that would happen was actually a reminder of how scary nuclear weapons really are.

@@aiosquadron Bedrock actually has its own blast resistance level which is used to calculate how powerful of an explosion is needed to break blocks. No normal explosion in the game can break it but a nuclear explosion in the game, relative to the power of TNT, could honestly probably break it.

After watching this, I saw a dream where I was at the moon with my cousin, watching a nuclear explosion on the moon. It was pretty amazing but then we decided to quickly run back into our spacecrafts before radiaton started showing its effects.

The best use for the moon would be as a FOB for space travel since launching rockets is much easier than on earth and it’s obviously orbiting earth so super quick to communicate with, keep tabs on, and travel to and from when needed

There's a reason one of the most feasible and damaging weapons humanity will have once space exploration becomes a thing is to just drop large rods of heavily metal from orbit. The kinetic energy of just dropping something suitably heavy from orbit dwarfs every nuke we currently have or likely will have by now.

I admire the financial independence of people, But you can live better if you work a little more. After watching this I think there are people out there, on the extreme, who plan to die early just to be able to retire early. To each their own but to me, retirement isn't just about not having to work, it's about having the freedom to do whatever you might reasonably want, such as travel, buying things, enjoying life, etc. I don't think I could retire with less than $3m in income-generating investments, maybe $2m at the very minimum. I plan to work until I'm at least 45
Nobody knows anything, you need to create your own process, manage risk and stick to the plan, through thick or thin while also continuously learning from mistakes and improving
