Out of all the Dynasty Warriors series, I would say that DW 7 has probably the best stories. You can really feel the emotion from the scenes and the characters. P.S Someone was cutting onions when I first saw this scene.
And he really died with by an ambush and an arrow threw his jaw. When he woke up and saw his face, he screamed and the wounds opened up again, and he died due to the injuries.
No matter how many times I played the games and seen this scene over and over again. It always makes me swell with tears. You grow attached to these people who you have seen change and improve over the years as their games do. But to see them rise and fall is always something that makes you smile and cry. This is one of the reasons why I love this franchise.
Wuwarrior 2917 no, its not... The truth is, Sun Ce died because he's going to hunt a rabbit by himself and suddenly ambush by an assassin... It's even worst when enemy's arrow shot through his jaws, but he still stand on his feet
Okay,I've never even played the Dynasty Warriros Series, and this really touched my heart. Plus.... Sun Ce was just a badass to act like nothing was wrong
Wei only defended its position at Fan Castle against Guan Yu. Wu was the kingdom that snuck up behind Guan Yu and captured most of Jing province and then surrounded Guan Yu at Mai Castle. So Wu was the main reason Guan Yu was killed, people tend to forget that the battles of Fan Castle and Mai Castle were separate battles. One was Guan Yu vs Wei and the other Guan Yu vs Wu.
3DIcicleFreeze I always found that Wu was the more mediative Kingdom meanwhile Wei (Incidentally my favorite kingdom) is more conquest focused and Shu (My least favorite) being more Idealistic (Blindingly so.)
So I read apparent history that Sun Quan went crazy in his last years and even killed Lu Xun his supreme commander pretty boy... good job Sun Ce should have left it to the ladies
Saddest death of: Shu: Either Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang or Guan Yu. Wu: Sun Jian or Ce. Wei: Dian Wei or Cao Cao. Jin: Sima Yi or Shi Other: None of them...
The problem is that if Sun Ce was in control, Wu may have been the first to fall instead of Shu because Sun Ce kept pursuing more lands, and that may force an uneasy alliance between Wei and Shu to take out the more aggressive kingdom.
Shu betrayed Wu at the battle of Chi Bi by taking a vital piece of Wu territory from them while Wu's attention was focused on Cao Cao's army. All Wu did was take it back.
previously existed from 220-222 as a vassal kingdom nominally under Cao Wei, its rival state, but declared independence from Wei and became a sovereign state in 222. It became an empire in 229 after its founding ruler, Sun Quan, declared himself 'Emperor'.
It's actually becoming more accurate to the 3 kingdoms stories. So many battles were pointless, filled with bloodshed and death and very little was gained.
Guan Yu should've fled when he had the chance though, cuz when Guan Ping and Zhou Cang said: Go now! We'll hold them back. Red Hare's incredable speed would've allowed him to survive but he insisted on going into battle. But I thought why Liu Bei attacked Wu was because it was a major breach of trust as Shu and Wu were always allies since Sun Ce. I wonder what would've happened if he was still alive at that point of time..well..no changing it, thanks anyways:)
Zhou Yu sent Lu Xun to Fan castle to reinforce the wei forces there because he saw a chance to eliminate one of the largest threats Shu could field. Guan Yu was a great tactician and amazing warrior, and Zhou Yu feared a war between Shu and Wu would lead to Wu's annihilation. Something along those lines.
All things considered, I can't wait to see cutscenes like these again in *_Dynasty Warriors 9_*. ^ It's been confirmed that they've done away with _Hypothetical_ paths & cutscenes. It's going to be purely "Historical" in Story Mode again.
That's Yu Ji, a somewhat magician of a sort who came to haunt Sun Ce and drive him to his death ... In the novel, Sun Ce has made Yu Ji killed because he dislikes black arts (and maybe perhaps he wasn't very fond of a man feared and respected by his own men), and Yu Ji's ghost came back to haunt me : by this time, Sun Ce had been badly hurt by poisonous arrow from Xu Gong's men earlier, and being to much stressed by the ghost makes his wounds open and he died ... But Koei makes good stuff here!
True, but that's probably because u can keep him alive if u play right, and those scenes are the same if i recall correctly so... I had the same impression when I saw the scene after the death of Guan Yu and ZhangFei.
doubtful Sun Ce may have wanted all lands but eventully he'd be shown what he's really doing i.e being Cao Cao taking all land with force except he'll use strategy as well. Sun Shang Xiang would tell him to stop attcking Shu for she has a crush on Liu Bei and wouldn't want him to suffer or die. they'd be wed and an allience between them will fold and would keep them as allies till Wei is defeated then peace between will happen
i seriously hate how they changed the ways the characters lookedf. Zhou yu, sun ce, sun quan, sun jian etc. and especially how they pronounce their names differently. I know that that is how their names are really pronounced but I liked it the way I grew up with
Just Lu Xun,Lu Meng, Ling Tong and Gan Ning were from Wu that devastated Jing Province and Fan Castle, the rest were all from Wei Cao Ren, Sima Yi, Xu Huang, probably more...so..why didn't Wei and Wu act together @ the battle of Yi Ling? ._.
What about Jia Xu? Aware of his own brilliance but fairly humble about it, and one of the funniest characters in the series. Also, in the Japanese voice-over, Dian Wei and Xiahou Yuan are completely different characters than the gruff persona of their English counterparts. And of course, the recently added Guo Jia, who they may have added for exactly the reason you just said.
What's a few arrows? Even on Chaos difficulty, it takes more than those to kill you. Realistically (if that's the right word to use), he'd look like a porcupine.
Guan Yu was pompous and stubborn so he didn't retreat when he had the chance. Well even though Shu and Wu were under an "alliance" there was always tension between the two kingdoms. They were always still on their guard because neither kingdom really trusted the other. In my opinion Shu was the one who betrayed Wu's trust. Ever since Shu stole Jing province from Wu after they defeated Cao Ren at the battle of Nanjun I considered that to be the real spark that made Wu kill Guan Yu. Revenge.
Im only loyal to Wei and my lord cao pi emperor and king of caowei but this was a good scene sun ce would of been a great wei general along with zhou tai had they not betrayed in 222.
Not to mention how each game builds up to this moment. In each game we get an idea as to how this happened. I believe in DW 4 or 5 we see Sun Ce battle the man (I forgot his name) who tells Sun Ce of himself. IN DW 5 Zhou Yu's ending as Ce speaking to Yu in his ending about their dream. And now in DW 7 We see Ce rise and fall as his family friends witness it as well.
Sun Ce's death in this game is so impacted. The voice acting from Yuri Lowenthal is amazing
I shouldn't have expected anything less from the same VA that portrayed Sasuke Uchiha
That moment when he falls, and Sun Quan's eyes widen, that's when the scene really hit me
Dane Howard IKR, it was sadder than DW8, it felt rushed :/
Dane Howard like you can just notice the moment he starts thinking: 'Ohshitnonononono!'
The moment I saw Lianshi and Shang Xiang's reaction was the moment it hit me
Out of all the Dynasty Warriors series, I would say that DW 7 has probably the best stories. You can really feel the emotion from the scenes and the characters.
P.S Someone was cutting onions when I first saw this scene.
Same i wish i know who is the one cutting onions 😢
Sun Ce died at age 25
And he really died with by an ambush and an arrow threw his jaw. When he woke up and saw his face, he screamed and the wounds opened up again, and he died due to the injuries.
Dewayne Grant
That's horrible way to die! isn it!
Yue Jin Nope I've heard worst.
what's ur story?
Yue Jin Jesus got hung up on the cross having nails in his hand. rocks and all dat sutffs
Pimpwalking can make you live longer even when arrows are in your back.

am I the only that's pissed off that Sun Ce is the only character to be killed by a fucking wizard.
Wuwarrior 2917 no, its not... The truth is, Sun Ce died because he's going to hunt a rabbit by himself and suddenly ambush by an assassin... It's even worst when enemy's arrow shot through his jaws, but he still stand on his feet
@@vandzgaming2510 He was such a bad ass and still survived days after the ambush, dying from a bit later...
He is one of my favorite characters 😢
Okay,I've never even played the Dynasty Warriros Series, and this really touched my heart.

... if you never played why are you here?? Lol not in a rude way.. just how'd you end up here watching this
@@Lolo-ji9xs ...Bruh. Six years ago.
Tho I gotta thank you. Been looking for this .
@@shadowboy8456 haha dude I was so curious..I thought this popped up in your recommendations or something..didnt see the damn ..I'm here too randomly
This is actually quite a touching moment. Sun Ce showed so much promise .and yet died so early on before his time.
🙄🙄😂😂😂
Wei only defended its position at Fan Castle against Guan Yu. Wu was the kingdom that snuck up behind Guan Yu and captured most of Jing province and then surrounded Guan Yu at Mai Castle. So Wu was the main reason Guan Yu was killed, people tend to forget that the battles of Fan Castle and Mai Castle were separate battles. One was Guan Yu vs Wei and the other Guan Yu vs Wu.
The saddest death scene of Sun Ce :/
Most of them were there when he died unlike DW8 and DW6
this is why Wu and Shu should always be together they both suffered heavy loses
Best Wu general ever, really sad scene... He was waaaay better than Quan actually
2:21 “Quan... you are a greater man than I, greater than our father...”
Um, no Sun Ce. No he’s not.
Actually true. I just don't like Sun Quan's coldness
Facts
Wu is my least favorite army, and Ce's death brought me to tears in seconds.
I know right!? Why was I crying at the end I don't even like Wu
Zhen Ji The game had the most emotional cutscenes by far! Heres to hoping they improve even more in 9!
3DIcicleFreeze I always found that Wu was the more mediative Kingdom meanwhile Wei (Incidentally my favorite kingdom) is more conquest focused and Shu (My least favorite) being more Idealistic (Blindingly so.)
@@FreezingTheMindOoooooofffffff. Im sorry dude, 9 was not on the cards.
I remember the scene when he died in the arms of Da Qiao in DW4:XL... Now he dies again.. *sobs*
In Dw8 it wasn't this emotional
So I read apparent history that Sun Quan went crazy in his last years and even killed Lu Xun his supreme commander pretty boy... good job Sun Ce should have left it to the ladies
sun ce was my favourite character in DW since 4
In my opinion, Sun Ce and Dian Wei are the 2 most unappreciated figures in the whole ROTK novel. It's so sad both of them die so early.
For a DW game, that scene was REALLY well done
I hated playing as Sun Ce but damn.. After that, i would've done anything to play as him again. Sun Ce is now my favorite
He got describe as little emperor, what more do you want? It was implying that his potential is immense and that he could'd done alot more.
I still remember DW6 "3 CHEERS FOR WU-" XD
The fucking music Got me and this cutscene I couldn't fucking resist it
Meanwhile , Daqiao was in the kitchen i suppouse >_< Poor Sun Ce and his family ... and freaking Daqiao , to lost her husband like that T_T
Swiftie Luma ohhhhhhhhhhh
That's why she's with us I had no idea where she came from or who she was
Man 8 didn't explain crap
Swiftie Luma Da Qiao was raising their daughter Sun Shi who later married Lu Xun.
I somewhat agree. And they tried to. But some of Shu's heavy losses were because of Wu's treachery/betrayal.
Saddest death of: Shu: Either Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang or Guan Yu.
Wu: Sun Jian or Ce.
Wei: Dian Wei or Cao Cao.
Jin: Sima Yi or Shi
Other: None of them...

i wish iwish i wish😭🙁
Sun Ce, dying with arrows in his back like a boss XD
Shu betrayed Wu at the battle of Chi Bi by taking a vital piece of Wu territory from them while Wu's attention was focused on Cao Cao's army. All Wu did was take it back.
Dw7 could really put me to tears this scene was so sad.
It always suck to watch him die in the games :(
previously existed from 220-222 as a vassal kingdom nominally under Cao Wei, its rival state, but declared independence from Wei and became a sovereign state in 222. It became an empire in 229 after its founding ruler, Sun Quan, declared himself 'Emperor'.
this is genuinly the only dynasty warriors cutscene that has made me wanna cry :'(
R.I.P
Damnit Sun Ce was my favorite
Alright legit many years later... who is talking in the beginning is that Zuo Ci?? Played by VA of Byakuga from bleach????
It's actually becoming more accurate to the 3 kingdoms stories. So many battles were pointless, filled with bloodshed and death and very little was gained.
he is my hero
Guan Yu should've fled when he had the chance though, cuz when Guan Ping and Zhou Cang said: Go now! We'll hold them back. Red Hare's incredable speed would've allowed him to survive but he insisted on going into battle. But I thought why Liu Bei attacked Wu was because it was a major breach of trust as Shu and Wu were always allies since Sun Ce. ZhouCang isn't canon🤔
They do this scene so much better here than in DW8. I just did this battle in DW8 and it is nowhere near as dramatic.
Wu trying to keep Officers alive challenge [IMPOSSIBLE]
Sun Quan's Eye's were so big we Sun Ce fell.
that acting is much better in the original tongue...not only that, they change the dialogue when they dub it to make it match the lips.

White Raven You're going to be disappointed.
White Raven Oof.
I remember seeing Sun Ce in this clip after watching Ben 10 Alien force
he might have tried to turn, slipped and fell on his face, leaving his back exposed
*Dumps bucket of steam buns on his corpse*
HELP, IT ISN'T WORKING. ALL I'M GETTING IS SUN QUAN'S SOBBING.
Sun Ce is the guy that i like in game. now he die
Yeah but then again, it was fired in point blank range. He wouldn't have had enough time to turn around due to how fast the arrows were travelling.
Ce was my favorite character :(
One flaw, Sun Ce was shot at the front but the arrows are at the back.
I did not notice the arrows in his back until sun Shang Xiang was shocked, then the arrows started to show ;)
so you never see that in DW6.?
see it in DW 6.. :(
i saw it, from lu xuns storyline, he was yelling to his men and then STAB, arrows in his back :D
I'm not so happy about this...
Sun Ce You will get over it. Now rest brave tiger of Jiang Dong.
"Little Conqueror"

For me LiuBei is the the best warrior ever!!!!
Same. I also would rather call Taishi Ci (Tye Shee See) over (Taisher Tser).
Yeah...you remember what happened to Guan Yu and Zhang Fei?
jing belong to liu biao who gave it to liu bei and when liu bei left sun quan took it
He Will Live Because He Is In Dynasty Warriors 8
0:35 Well shit...this seems to be the first time someone in DW swears (only if you count 'hell' as a swear, but you get the idea).
I was thinking the same thing ahah
Jessie Tricia in dw5 they say damn
Jessie Tricia but that is funny
Huang Gai calls Xiahou Yuan "little punk" in DW5. lol

In other words, I was actually a little shocked at Sun Ce’s death. Maybe even a little traumatized.
Might have turned around and attempted to flee before they fired.
Dian Wei is like a minor character to me. A bodyguard who Cao Cao had the courtesy of naming.
Guan Yu was pompous and stubborn so he didn't retreat when he had the chance. Well even though Shu and Wu were under an "alliance" there was always tension between the two kingdoms.
