Dude! People have been asking me, how goes the D1 project? Good luck with the show! :) Your Onyx video did really well, which is excellent. So what's next, an Onyx2? 8)
Oh man, I have never played with an SGI machine but we support them at my job. I follow the channel but havent seen an update in a while so I havent checked back lately ( ugh mistake on my part ). I live 5 mins from Wall NJ and would of loved to come check this out.. If you attend or theres any other local shows in the future please post.. So suprised to see "Wall NJ".
I don't currently have any plans for events other than VCF East, but I'm likely to be back next year for VCF East 2020, which should be in the same place. You should be able to stop by then if you like. What SGIs do you still support?
Wish I could join everyone there at VCF, but I'm over here in "Mordor", UK. Hey, I found the fabled SGI Octane CPU connectors the other day. Took a LOT more searching than you might imagine... www.digikey.be/product-detail/en/te-connectivity-amp-connectors/5536280-5/A115440-ND/2261612 They don't seem to do the taller versions, sadly, but maybe I'll find them at some point. I can now make a better Octane adapter PCB, using those connectors. Not that I have many uses for the adapter yet, as it'll be quite a long-term project to start implementing more of the SGI stuff on FPGA.
It would be super cool if you came back and made more videos. I would love to hear more about your Fuel!
0:45 "or maybe use the Onyx to shop for an Onyx on SGI dot com" 😆😆
Damn, I would love to come hang out and check these machines out. Wish I could make it.
Can you come back to doing videos?
We miss you
looking forward to more videos

Seems like a nice weekend trip but unfortunately I am needed elsewhere. :( Have fun!
Best of luck with the show! Looking forward to more videos.

We support any machines for file system backups that use XFS file system.. We barely see them though. @@Dodoid
I might do 2020 this year..
I wish I could have made it. Might be going to VCF west later this year, though.
To bad ... i'm a "little bit" too far (in Paris). I worked on this machine long long time ago and it should be really interesting to play with it. ;)
You had a great display!

I am writing a book and I am trying to find high-res screenshots of PowerAnimator 6 running on SGI. Do you have PA6 by any chance?
0:25 "A Couple months ago" more like 9 months ago. OOF
Just curious, how have you acquired the computers?
Nice
