Yeah, even if you master a new character that fast, you need to consider character match-ups and fighting style, again this Akuma might look so OP when mastered but still someone with the right character and fighting style will easily beat it... That's how Capcom designed this game... No end-all-be-all... Even a Blanka can win you Evo 😊
Akuma dropped yesterday and Tokido is already doing this well! Can't wait to see once he has gotten the muscle memory down and really starts showing what's up.

@@arrhythmiticd8089 I may play again when the level of cheating gets a blockage patch or auto immediate restart to new challenger everytime. The game has so many cheaters it's stupid. If I wanted to play AI then I'd just go to the story mode. I don't mind the playability. I personally want to see more interesting characters come up. I haven't been interested in the characters much. I just use Ryu, my style in the sense of straight up, not many straight up style characters. I never really got into akuma, even back in the day. It was fun but it got old. I'm more of a Sagat, straight up and classic SF character. I just get so bored at leveling up and the cheating gets better every time almost like it's meant to knock you back down. I'm just like....this is a waste.

Like, I play Zangief, right? I put most other Zangiefs in not very obvious command grab and Drive Impact situations and they know to counter Drive Impact, jump and back dash almost every time. It could be me. I'm not sure. But, it kinda gets sketchy after a while.

Akuma is hard to use in this version. Like you need to whiff punish immensely with him to be good. He can’t spam like Ken
