Photomechanic is the industry standard for all sports photojournalist. It's fast and makes the job a lot easier. From there, some might use Photoshop or lightroom for basic tone corrections, highlight adjustments, image resizing to meet client needs, etc. Each photojournalist finds a work flow that works best for them and their client/news outlet.
