how to embrace before colonizer? I tried this achievement and my institution was locked until Spain finish colonize beside me, and then all 4 colonizer came to me one by one, I was totally beaten up...
Ah man, RNGesus blessed you this run, my man. I ran through mimicking you but the Europeans appeared early and Spain had annexed both Aragon and Naples and had allied with France and Portugal and the UK was fully unified, my only hope to get a foothold in Europe was to attack Denmark (allied with France) or Tuscany via colonialism or no-CB. I repulsed the first three invasions by the Iberians but when they brought in France as a third ally, I got brought to my knees. Russia and the Ottomans were both prepared to ally me if I was closer too, but my diplo tech was one short of the colonialism range boost I needed Granted, my economy wasn't as strong as yours though. Time to re-watch your Aztec's Campaign (again) and go (again) 😅
@@ZlewikkTV I started attempting this achievement on and off since 1.28 so I've kept my eu4 at that version for the Aztec campaign ever since, as it's very much within my comfort zone. I just don't get a lot of chances to do it as I am in Uni now. Having said that, I continue to watch your content endlessly between my studies, so I hope you keep up the good work man. I've learned at least half of what I know about the game from yourself lol.
Aztecan isn't a word it is just Aztec Empire. or as they called themself "Mexica" they also called themselfs "Tenochca" (which is why they named their capital "Tenochtitlán". "Mexica" is what inspired New Spain to go by the name "Mexico" after they got independence
@@youraveragepizzaenjoyer4575 technically the capital was Mexico-Tenochtitlan which is where Spain got the name and really present day México (City) is just a continuation of Mexico (-Tenochtitlan)
How did you deal with rebels while going just religious lol, I'm going for byzantine wc and I have like 7 missionaries and I still cant convert fast enough to reduce unrest.

Because I reformed and killed them as soon as they arrived. Also when you take over colonial nations of colonial empire their color becomes yours in timelapse. Look at colonial nations names

Tip for the future: do not try to mimic campaign done on... 1.28? When you are playing on 1.33 :p too many things changed to follow it unfortunately

Aztecs have some cool bonuses to unrest (I had -11 in total at the end) but without humanist it was still quite tough
