Turn two of the outher foundations into docks. Maybe put some clay stairs to lower higher one yo water level. Third one, you can turn into terrace. Place some chairs out. It's in the shade, after all. The roof looks great, btw.
The devs should absolutely look into filling out the gap between the brick walls. I didn't mind or so much for the main structure, but for the towers it looks strange. I also feel breaking structures should give some materials back for reuse.
with the floor 'bug' ive noticed if you have a floor below, it works with placing the one above - but i like the placing the placing the floor before the walls trick too that's helped with making some pretty cool things
I'd leave the foundations and use them as a place to extend some docks from. That way you can have a proper place for your fleet of ships. In the middle of the top platform you could do a little triangle of walls to hang lanterns from to get a lighthouse/landing platform look. You could also add a roof to it so the one roof doesn't look so out of place. Also, maybe you could put some railing around the top so I don't get so nervous about you falling off? Great video, man. This season is a blast.
Hey, love your vids, first off. I think if you used clay floors on the rest of the plank floors up top, it would take care of those posts from the half walls. Also, should see what 3 triangle roof sections would look like on the other 2 hexagons on the top. Would give good shade. Love this base. Best I've seen someone build yet.
To be honest I totally forgot about your Channel but I'm thinking about watching you all over again I just binge watch all your old Gaming videos to the point where I get tired and I forget about you but then I always come back for some reason hopefully this series is really good.
12:37 how do you manage to keep your piles of stuff so organized??? Because everytime i try, things just bounce like beach balls and go flying across the island
It's been too long since you played a procedural island. I started a new game to see what I could accomplish quickly... haven't left the starter island, but I have all the crafting stations, sleeping bag, clay water storage, basically everything. Only found 5 crates (bad luck in the wrecks), but loads of tires, so I have a 2 base dinghy plus enough buoyancy to add 4 bases to a larger transport barge. I'm off to an island with a sunken container wreck to build the barge next. I'm right at 6 days survived. I love the custom islands for the island itself, but find that they are (pretty much always) way too loaded with loot and that diminishes my enjoyment of playing them. Much more fun to watch you and others play them. Keep up the excellent builds! :)
I couldn’t think of playing this without custom islands now. I make my own large islands with a decent amount of loot. You still have to work for it but it’s essential for keen builders.
What about adding two small piers on the two "round" foundations that are touching the water? With that it would make sense to have a door on the bottom of the towers
I made holding pens for the leaves, rock and sticks. A simple 1 square building ( 3 windows and 1 door) with an outside stairs to a loading platform. this can be 2 stories or whatever you need. I usually go 1 story for the leaves and rock, 2 for the sticks and i did 3-4 stories for my log dispenser. neat and tidy. so what do you think? ( I use window walls so i can see the level of inventory and the items don't fall out of them)
When placing floors, if you hold down the rotate button, it will eventually turn and you can place it. It doesn't snap to the best choice first for some reason. Just takes a minute.
You should fill in the walls with the door at the bottom to elevate up and a door leading on the outside to a small dock where you can park the rust bucket
Love the work man! I've got an idea Add a elevator inside any one of the gyro pillar that takes you straight to the top when you need to take gyro for a spin instead of climbing three storey.
you should make 2 more main bases, one out of wood, and the other out of corrugated scrap, that way you have one base made out of each building material.
Base is a beauty! I am still on my first playthrough of hard survival no deaths but I am too wussy to move out from my first home island so it basically looks like a village with all the bases I've built on it
Just a quick question, how is it possible that in your inventory it says that you have 1/24 fiborous leaves? Sorry if this is a question that is kind of noobish but i have gotten the game three days ago and would like to be able to carry more stuff.
Will you play any other games soon? I mean - Stranded Deep is a nice game, but it doesn't have enough different things for so many episodes - at least in my opinion. It would be nice to see you play some other games again (Mist Survival? Minecraft?)

Turn the foundations by the water into a dock for the rafts
Yeah and he could turn one or both walls into a doorway
My thought exactly!
I was waiting for this video so long -felt like ages.
Im so pleased to get an other episode! : D

You should fill the gaps and make dock for ships and for fishing .
Keep the fondaitions but expand the out in docks
Exactly
Possibly replace a wall with a open door for access to the docks!
I agree with that
Build some docking station at the sea level for rafts

Idk why but when you said hey everyone, i said hey😂

glad i could help in the name!!!

It is trust me
12:37 how do you manage to keep your piles of stuff so organized??? Because everytime i try, things just bounce like beach balls and go flying across the island
Me: turns on subtitles
Broadbent: hey everyone a problem here
Those circles on the bottom floor should just be little huts, so that could all be storage for on the beach
If the clay roof throws you off, you could build two more to even it out. They won't serve an actual purpose, but that will give you peace of mind.
Hey man, I suggest you should put Jerry can storage under each helly pad it would make a lot of sense??
Smart man

You should make those outer foundations into a proper walkway around and add another few foundations so you can walk around the towers
What about adding two small piers on the two "round" foundations that are touching the water? With that it would make sense to have a door on the bottom of the towers

I don't think you can make elevators
@@toad3222 It's a trick, man! You should watch his all videos to know that.
@@D1N3SH ohh the door elevators, yeah I wasn't thinking
12:08 make a long pathway toward the sea and make a dock.. And half wall along the way to the end. That would be nice.
you should make a masive (40 by 40) drone over ocean, which only can be accessed by gyrocopter
you should make 2 more main bases, one out of wood, and the other out of corrugated scrap, that way you have one base made out of each building material.
13:26 the shark looks like a goblin shark
Keep the lower foundations, build more so that it’s like a wrap around patio
Nice build, maybe empty doorways at bottom of Southwest tower for access to docks extending from the base in a Y shape.
Change the bottom walls on the towers and put doorways in instead, and add a dock to the water side of the jutting out leg.
Nicest base I ever saw
Good job
Base is a beauty! I am still on my first playthrough of hard survival no deaths but I am too wussy to move out from my first home island so it basically looks like a village with all the bases I've built on it
Add two diagonal roofs below the 2 sqaure foundations of the bridge. It would make it look more supported and “real”
You should replace the wood flooring with clay brick flooring when you have enough clay bricks
fill in those wedge gaps and yeah get rid of foundations except by water. have that one be a dock.
The foundations make the build more supportive
In my opinion those roof look decent, but I'm curious to know if you would be able to place a roof on all of the floors at the top.
Just a quick question, how is it possible that in your inventory it says that you have 1/24 fiborous leaves? Sorry if this is a question that is kind of noobish but i have gotten the game three days ago and would like to be able to carry more stuff.
I built a side room off of the house with a door on it to store all the leaves and another for sticks.
Had no idea you were using custom islands lol was about to buy it
Great video. Not gonna lie though, was bummed out that this was not the Meg episode. Crossing my fingers for the next one.
Don't demolish the base of the towers, it looks great, like a breakwater in the base of castles, or lighthouses located on shorelines...
Make carrier, for a heli and dingy
Survival day #71, today I built princess Wolly a castle.
Nice build Brodie
outer fundations protect the base of towers
make some docks and water huts maybe next
Think you should have build the outer 3 circle 1 storied and then start the tower... but the base sure looks great 😊
Should fill in the walls all the way to the new pieces,
What custom island do you use?
Keep the foundations and u can use them as extra storage
if ya wanna leave that roof in, why dont copie it to the other 2 circles and have like 2 little rooms up there too
Change the half walls under the jirecopter to full walls to me it looks better!
Why hasn't he built the tool belt yet? Good content
When are we going to see you fight the giant shark?
Can this only be played on PC
i like the roof
How do you download custom islands more specifically these islands
There's loads in my discord server, link in desc.
Love your stuff
Turn the foundations into a dock
Are you gonna try and fight that giant megaladon
Turn them into storage silos
When will you fight the megaladon, I’m really excited for that
I'd keep the Tower's just put walls around the front foundations have an actual tower holding up the platforms on top
Also love the tower roof you put there maybe put some more walls down and raise the roof
I’m just about caught up on all of this, will you be uploading more anytime soon?.
looks really cool
It look good . 2019 accomplishments what other Is in your list
Put roofs on the other three places
Build a dock to dock you boats at
Will you ever be playing The Mist?
Put half walls on the bridges
Will you play any other games soon?
I mean - Stranded Deep is a nice game, but it doesn't have enough different things for so many episodes - at least in my opinion.
It would be nice to see you play some other games again (Mist Survival? Minecraft?)
god i hate the gaps in the clay walls they urk me immensely, makes the structure appear less solid
Agreed
By the way I love your channel and I subscribed
Leave it as is and use the openness of the corners as storage for crap you know stuff that is not worth anything
LIKE if more raft
Will you ever play raft again? Nice videos :)
When the game leaves early access, you bet!
Bent U can make a wraft whch can carry a gyrocopter.
waiting for another episode for tomorrow
Destroy them
Do a video/episode for half an hour
Your really cool. 😎
Bent you sound different
Nice bace
Con you do that
Thought this was rust
The towers look awful lol. The base itself looks great but those towers look terrible.
Broad bent sponsored by kfc
