That scene was so so powerful to me.

While Dāvāja Māriņa meitenei mūžiņu is story of mother and child, Russian One Million Roses lyrics is based on story of Georgian painter Niko Pirosmani and his beloved Margarita, and Korean lyrics also contains roses. I know that this song wasn't written for her (well, MELODY wasn't), but it was remade for her, Pauls allowed to use his tune and Russian poet Voznesenskiy wrote brand new lyrics (Latvian and Russian ones have nothing in common), and because of singer's popularity, people remember this version. It's nice that she helped to make this song (and Pauls' composition) more popular. Btw, inspite Aija Kukule was original singer, some people are sure it was Larisa Mondrus who actually covered it. After finishing My Mister for awhile I disregarded searching for this song's lyrics. Now I realized how this song particularly became the drama's blueprint. After somehow living your life amidst this dark cruel world, you finally find that one person who becomes your light, your one great love, and together you come home to the stars. JA and DH's relationship may somewhat remain ambigous to some but in my opinion this song makes it very clear. Love doesn't make it any less of a great drama. To me this is one of the greatest love stories in a "non-romantic" story.
The tune is beautiful and so is the low singing voice. This song gives such a sad and helpless feeling of resignation. As if it's telling me that human sadness and suffering is a necessary and inevitable part of life that we cannot run away from. We are all 'fighting' what life throws at us.

I'm on episode 11 and I find it to be a pretty good show. Imo the way they did this kdrama is different than other kdramas I have watched. It feels more realistic, less exaggeration of cliche reactions that you would see in other dramas (not that I'm hating on it)

First time i watched My Mister was November of last year, until now i completed it two more times. It's the best Kdrama i ever watched. The story and the potrayal of characters played by actors were amazing. For the song, i didn't liked it much for the first two times but i completed the drama 3rd time yesterday and fell in love with this song after 3rd time. 10/10 for drama and it's OSTs ♥

It's a universally acclaimed drama, very good. May not be the best overall, but it's definitely a masterpiece worth watching.

One of my favourite scenes were the one oh Na ra went to see the monk in the temple and begged him to come back, that scene cried me a river😭 her acting was so good and I felt her pain so much, so so much, I really wanted them to get back together but I really understood his decision and hurt me even more 😞 this song plays as he keeps thinking about her...

First time i watched My Mister was November of last year, until now i completed it two more times. It's the best Kdrama i ever watched. The story and the potrayal of characters played by actors were amazing.
For the song, i didn't liked it much for the first two times but i completed the drama 3rd time yesterday and fell in love with this song after 3rd time. 10/10 for drama and it's OSTs ♥
It was first time watching My Mister this month and I can't wait to watch it again, and then again. I didn't like this song the first time I heard it either. But when I saw the lyrics, wow. So beautiful. Plus, cannot say enough that the acting of each character in that show is so perfect. Ah.
