In my opinion you should keep Rooney! It's so much more fun to use players from your own team. I get so much excitement when Future Stars Gerrard scores, assists, or even tackles. Its great.

I play with pretty basic tactics but use 4-2-4 with POTM Solanke and Reiten as strikers with Reiten set to get in behind and Solanke to be a target man. The fact that solanke has power header and 99 strength makes him crazy good
Pinas finesse are amazing but its her through balls which make her shine for me. ridiculous especially over the top

You should try hold x and rb and aim it at a corner flag and sometimes it makes a massive run and puts you in behind or with zerkziee you can header it through for a counter attack

If you run into 4-4-2 try using the quick tactic 'hug sideline' to try and get as wide as possible with your fullbacks
