Hey guys just be careful on your trip, it's stinger season in far north qld so I wouldn't recommend swimming anywhere besides tourist freshwater spots or in designated stinger nets without a stinger suit, stay away from all creeks rivers and estuarys near the coast unless you have experience. Always wear rock walking shoes.

In my youth we had a lot of Malcolm Douglas bush tucker type characters on our screens showing remote places we'd never otherwise see and then we stopped seeing them for a long while. I think jour shows, frick and fran are filling that gap for us
