I've been following your videos for about a year, which greatly influenced my decision in choosing my current camera. I must express my gratitude for your contributions to the camera community.
This camera bag is the one to beat. Definitely a diamond in the rough! Having this will make my hiking and traveling that much easier. No more need to have a bunch of battery packs. WOW!!!❤
I am fully invested with Peak design backpacks! But the modularity of The Coalax Backpack looks like it is the new king of bags! Im very excited to get my hands on one, for solo documentary work!
For documentary and production work, This thing is basically a mobile studio. I actually have a trip coming up into the mountains for a lifestyle/western commercial. And this will be my whole home base
This camera bag looks sweet! Love the detachable arm slings and swappable power bank for accessory bag. For bad backs I suspect you can’t go wrong with the exoskeleton!
I'm a 3D scanning tech, so this looks cool from the point of view of sticking a bunch of scanners plus a drone in it, jumping on a motorbike and getting out to location/job. Nice!

The large battery makes it an issue for traveling on planes. TSA doesn't allow large external batteries, my MacBook pro maxes out the TSA battery limit and this battery pack has a lot more at 300w it's 3x the TSA limit which means you can't bring it with you as a carry on or checked bag. Without the battery the bag is nothing special tbh.
a lot of potential with this backpack mmmmmm,,, I wonder how would react agains the snow or rain? any covers that comes with ti, would be nice to have it for my Yosemite and point Reyes travel film
@TechThroughTheLens where I live we have a huge car/racing community so weekly events and such are always happening and alot of the bigger photographers their who utilize a variety of capturing methods could utilize this. I shared the video to a couple buddies of mine.
This is awesome! I live where there are no cars and have to carry all my gear everywhere just to leave the house. It would make filming on the beach much more easy and compact.

My house is up the mountain, and I have to pack everything in and carry all my trash out. It's lovely. Difficult, for sure, but a simple, rewarding life. I'm just starting a RUclips channel after five years of people asking me to show what this life is like. (It's not in this name. ) As a result, I'm now avidly looking for solutions to make this new project more viable as I can only carry so much on my person. I've become so accustomed to no hot water, wading across rivers, hiking with my groceries and dog food on my back, washing clothes in the river if the town's well pump is off, no cars, and a very simple rustic lifestyle that I forget it's a bit exotic. I'm trying to start documenting it. There are pros and cons to every lifestyle -- this one has been quite the teacher.
I can appreciate the form and function of this camera bag. It leaves room for future growth and I look forward to seeing how much more it will evolve. living in the UK where its like a 1% chance of sunlight per year, I can say that unfortunately I wont be using the solar powered charger as much. however its a solid bag pack that I would really like to have as I do run around town to town to shoot and is really annoying when I forget to pack a power bank or my usual bag pack ran out of storage.
The frame is nylon and fiber plastic injection. You mistakenly said it can charge your phone anywhere between 12-15 times and drone 4-6 times. I learned some new things from this video, like how the back connects to the bottom front to store something big and that it can switch between AC and DC. And it's nice to see how the selfie arm wobbles with the backpack standing alone on the ground.
When this was release, I saw Dave Manning's video and was turned off of it because of the excessive sway in the pole. Coalax responded and said that was a pre release and the production units would be better.
Great review of this well designed backpack. One user on Coalax's Facebook group mentioned this backpack is very heavy. Without the power pack, how heavy is this backpack? I am worry that airline won't allow this backpack as a carry on since many airlines are now weighting carry-on bags.
I actually shot a water test but cut it for time. I filled the bag with tissue paper showered it with a hose. and not a single drop of water got in. I was so impressed
fantastic unique product, I am from Holland and wonder whether the AC power will also be released with a European outlet so that no plug adapter is needed for the European market
I'm not going to lie, I'm trying to pull up to the city with this bag on my back like I'm from the year 2084. I dig the design aesthetic along with the utility.
I just started to build up my production gears and definitely won't find some thing better than this amazing backbag, but I have a wish I hope they add some space for small tripods and for small LED light boxes and I hopethey can cover the powerstations with a peaceof leather to secure it from dust and rain.. I wish I win this amazing backbag.. ❤
Hey i should have mentioned this. but the power station is ipx5 resistant. so mild water and and dust won't mater. And it does come with a rain case that does on the drone but i usually put in on the power bank I honestly feel like i could have added so much more in this video but then it would have been 2 hours

That is a good question. I never considered the different power outputs.
What level of weatherproofing is it for the battery? I'm a bit worried about carrying this in a rainy/snowy area with all those sockets exposed.

Yah sadly the laptop pocket will not fit a 17inch. also I assume you have a 17inch asus or MSI. Those laptops are also very thick
