Good job bro.. I’m gonna do this to my Box Caprice one day.. I’ll probably just use the 4L60 to start with and eventually manual swap it.. It’s too fun shifting
My only complaint about the T 56 is that the reverse gear is on the high speed side of the transmission. That a bit scitzo. Low gears (like reverse) should be on the low gear (left) side. It is more convenient to back out of the garage and find low gear near by. I have been a long haul driver for 48 years and have never understood the logic of putting low speed gears (reverse) on the high speed side. It is not only wrong, but it is wrong headed.
I had a 92 Buick Roadmaster Wagon that I regret selling....it was in real good condition but i wanted the money to modify my Audi...which is currently being parted out.......shoulda just did this conversion instead. Goodie Mob instrumental for the win!
I love the clutch petal, it blends right in, and looks completely stock, Idk if the car actually has ABS, but the brake petal saying ABS, just looks amazing! I would look to do something like this one day..
Yes it has ABS. We cut the bracket off the b body brake pedal and welded it to a pair of F body pedals so that it would bolt up back up like factory. Only thing that was required was moving the fuse panel over a couple inches to allow the room of the clutch pedal to sit unbothered.
I'm in the process of getting everything I need... You did a good job Bruh! I got, pedal assembly with all the switches, the Hydraulics, cross member, Shift boot I'm getting the T56 with BellHousing in Feb... Where can I go or can you recommend me somewhere or one to do this swap??? And what about the Computer and the Wiring Harness?? And the wiring the switches to the new pedal assembly???
That’s sweet I have a 1993 caprice it’s not a wagon tho but it’s a 5.0 I know there not a lot of mods but I want to to do a manual swap and I want to to know what transmission is recommend it or what should I do some tips I appreciate for the help bro
That is my dream car. I've always wanted to do a swap like that. Some day...
I have a 91 Caprice Wagon. About to start my conversion. Thank you for the inspiration!
6.2L from Denali, 6 speed manual trans from...tbd, lol.
How’s everything coming along?
This pandemic got in the way. I have the motor, was searching for a gently used 6 speed manual before everything shut down.

Those wheels are sick on the green wagon
Joshua Marcoux. Thanks bro

I fully agree and is the main reason why i dont have power to the reverse lockout, to prevent me from hitting the reverse gear altogether when driving
Great job
This is awesome but can't help to laugh at how funny the shifter looks.
I would go with an impala ss middle console and a short throw shifter
I already have a 96 console and a hurst billet shifter.
@@CrimeScene96 cool man I really dig your build. My 93 is currently at the body shop getting a fresh 2tone paint job
Traded my 93 wagon for the labor on stroking out my 96SS!💪🏾
dammmmmm is a beautiful masterpiece lol 100%
Thanks bro

Take over your hero
What did you do to get them pedals mounted? I'm trying to avoid buying the f2b kit. Looks good bro!
Had a S10 clutch pedal welded to the b body brake pedal.
I'm going to search for one and give that a shot. Thanks
Nice 👌🏼

Can the car drive with the auto ecu
If memory serves me, i recall riding around town with a Auto tune and not having an issue.
how hard was it to do the pedals.where you get them from .thanks
Nothing to it really. Its a S10 clutch pedal welded to the b body brake pedal so that it bolts up to is stock location.
What peddle assembly did you use
William Aguiar a set from an 90s F body
CrimeScene96 you didn't need a spacer like most do ?
William Aguiar no sir, these were made to bolt up directly to the stock area.
So how hard was it to do .want to do my wagon.
That's so sick
Evan McClure thanks brother
1:08 If you wore strong enough protective gloves, you will not have a bad cut on your hand, lad.
How dumb must one be to change an auto-trans against a manual???????
You mind repeating that bruh?
@Hirthirt hirt, you gonna re ask me your question or am i going to have to reply back to you in an unpleasant manner? You got 8 hours to respond back.
Music is terrible....
