@dkdangaming1172 probably no energy and physical as well since they don't offer bonus damage to shields and hull. Electric damage works on all npc ships as there are no npc ships made of stone. Teslas have the highest base dps in game which could be electric but the problem with npc resistance to damage types which is basically immune to all of that damage type for the shield. If they resist plasma damage the electric damage will still break shield. I see no reason why to go energy or physical damage types as they h%ave no bonus damage against any thing.
