I absolutely love how he is never negative with his wife & enjoys being with her, this is what life is all about, be an example of respectful love for each other so the children know what a good relationship looks like. I'll love my daddy forever for giving us him when he was off work, he was always laughing with us.

Hey, you can go to your settings and "always expand" the sold and completed buttons and also turn on the lock where it will stay on sold and/or completed so you don't have to go to filters on every search
I just tried this and although it locks initially it quickly reverts back with the next search :( There must be a easier way. I’ve only been searching eBay for a week for comps and am already SO tired of having to scroll down, tick sold etc.. I dunno how Kayla does it every single day!

Kayla, those are 1950’s era art deco boudoir lamps. They often came in pairs for his and hers nightstands and had to be heavy so you wouldn’t knock them over in the middle of the night. #flippinlizzie

@@thehomeschoolingpicker and you still took it off your wrist and laid it down. haha I believe you use to wear a little crossbody bag in the past. Would be a good idea to go back to that. Or maybe a Kavu bag or something. Just something to hold you money, keys and phone. Then your anxiety would be lowered and your hands would be free to look at things.

First thing, my eyes went straight to the JohnDeere S&P shakers... I feel a tear rolling down my cheek thinking of my dear sweet Auntie E. She loved her collection. It broke my heart when she passed, no many had a appreciation of her love for antiques. I going to stop... or I will turn into a blubbering mess...

I grew the jade plant from one leaf and it grew so big it was two or three feet wide and I put it outside on the deck and it bloomed with little white flowers

I met famous Radio DJ in Kansas City that worked in 60's 70's 80's at a garage sale and he had radio station only 45's from all the top 40's hits. This was in the late 80's or early 90's and I was not smart enough to buy them all for .25 cents each.

Great video and great finds! I have to tell you, Kayla, I was at a townwide garage sale in my area of upstate New York and sadly a woman set her wallet down to look at a couple things and someone stole it. Every time I saw you lay yours down I got nervous. Thankfully the go pro was watching it! 😉
And she does it often. During a few videos I found myself hollering at the tv about leaving it on the table. And I live in Jersey so I know what you mean about it being gone in seconds, people in Kentucky are definitely a different breed…much nicer.

That first sale, OMG, I would os spent all day there. Fantastic sale and of course fantastic vlog! You two do make a great couple by the way.
My favourite aunt , Barbara, featured a lot in my childhood, back in the late fifties, early sixties, I have fond memories as a 5 year old, playing in her parlour where her ‘treasures’ were, which consisted of a record player on which we played ‘You were on my mind’ by Crispian St Peter, and a table top of various ornaments. The most fascinating ‘ornament’ were salt and pepper boobs on a naked lady who was lying down, with her knees bent and her hands behind her head. I truly loved my aunty Barb, and 60+ years on, I can still see that parlour in my minds eye.
Kayla, I think your mystery lamps might be art deco bullet or skyscraper frosted glass boudoir lamps. That's what they remind me of anyway.

I haven't watched this video all the way thru yet but when I saw your skull nodders it brought back a memory when I bought a set, I paid $4 for them to resell and I could tell my Mom didn't think I'd made a good buy! $4 for those? And just like you Kayla, mine sold for $44! That was about 15 yrs ago, good to know they've held their value!

My grandmother collected salt and pepper slackers. When she passed she had enough for every child, grandchild and great grandchild to have one. She had 12 children, so there was a lot of us, well over 100. Mine is a swan floating on a lake and when you pick up the swan she is feasting on two eggs, salt and pepper.
She’s just so happy and nice all the time. So bubbly. I think it’s the southern accent. I’ve met a few people with that accent and they just always sound sweet.

My Grandma and Pappy had those BBQ salt and pepper shakers when we had BBQs as kids. They’re probably still hanging in the patio where they would grill. My Gram was a huge salt and pepper shaker collector. Shelves and shelves of them

I was so excited when you picked up the Laurel Burch cat shakers, but then you put them down! Then I was excited that Matt picked them up, but then HE put them down!😆 I looked them up and they sell for $20-$25 + shipping, and have a great sell through rate…but you got so many other fantastic things!! I’m amazed at the lamps!!!! And I was surprised at the comp on that last pair of silver shakers. Great scores!!! 🎉
