Sean's wording was awful though. How you gonna tell her you love her while rejecting her?
Sean smiled at her and spoke to her like he was going to propose. Very sad. But then he said, Um! And the whole mood changed. Her happiness just left her and she was heartbroken. So difficult to see this on camera. She is so sweet and nice and had so much decency.
Umm... that was the whole show initially...Sean actually wanted to say goodbye to her sooner before it got to this point (i read his book as I was a fan)...so I always felt bad for both. He has to break up with someone on the same day he proposes (p.s. he's the only one on the batchelor who married the women he proposed to.) In later seasons, everyone statted breaking up with the "runner up" before the proposal day... which is important because it's all their lives and it impacts everyone.
Lindsey handled it like a pro. She's incredible. That's the definition of a strong woman right there.
Was wondering why she really believed that she was getting the proposal?
Catherine on the other hand, was saying she scared and really nervous not expecting that she was the one getting the final 🌹.

The moment she took off her shoes I knew she would be OK. You go girl. Happiness has nothing to do with whether you have a partner in life or not. Stay strong!

Sean had the best selection of ladies...most are mature (except for Tierra). Sean and Catherine are great together! Lindsay found her soulmate and has a great family!

Agree...also Lindsey found her person pretty soon after this season...so all worked out as it should.
This clip appeared on my recommendation, I'm assuming because I was on RUclips searching about Sean and Catherine as of 2023, lol. That said...I think Sean made the right choice, I believe with Lindsey it was more of a friendly precious love and good-natured he thought she was cute and sweet. But with Catherine there was fire and passion in his eyes and soul. I was always team Catherine. I'm glad Lindsey found love with her now husband and they have 2 adorable kids.
Still so hard to watch. That's when the show was honest and special.
Proud of her; she thought she couldn’t handle it if Sean dumped her but she did survive that. She left with her shoulders back, her head held high and no shoes on.

My ex told me he loved me while breaking up with me, really confusing at the time and honestly just made me think there was a chance of it still working out - highly recommend not doing that if you're serious about ending things with someone

@@estewart4904 Same. My then about to be ex told me he doesn't know why but he was leaving me as he walked away from me via the gate of my home. When he turned back to re enter the gate that I was already closing, I told him it was too late and that he made the right choice going because if he didn't know whether he loved me enough not to go then to me it meant he didn't love me at all. It must have felt like he had passed through the gate of hell instead of heaven as I closed that gate in his face and turned my back on him. He tried to win me back and eventhough I loved him I knew there was a greater love out there for me

I truly feel for these women, because if you think about it, even when he does PIC Catherine, you know that in the back of her mind, once they move in and start their life together, you always will wonder am I still good enough is he happy am I still the best choice does he regret choosing me?
Exaclty this is why this show is a terrible medium to meet anyone even If in the end it all "works out" . The man will always have the one up
I don’t know if it means anything in reality but to me I kind of like that she took off her shoes because she still had the presence of mind to think about what she was most comfortable with, even if it might have been a minor inconvenience to everybody else.

Not sure what show you watched, but it was clear tk me that he was crazy about Catherine (and Lindsay he cared about but it was more like a high school girlfriend). If you read his book he thought Catherine friendzoned him initially- watch when he first meets Catherine, he thought she was stunning. I think it was clear it was Catherine once they did final dates in Asia..was always team Catherine and so happy they're happy.

@@jamie5199 they didn't even do the counseling they refused to participate in a number or required tasks. they only went on that show to get more fame. They were making fun of the other couples so in a sense youre defending two people who were making fun of actual couples seeking real help. Not to mention their whole wife swap episode. Those two are phony as hell
