prediction: once emirates starts operating the the a350-900, they will fall in love with the plane and will revisit their negotiations for the -1000
They don't have a problem with A350 in general. They just don't like the maintenance requirements of Trent XWB-97 of A350-1000 in desert conditions. RR is already working on improving the engine.
It would be nice if they did. A350-1000 is a plane for luxury business class as we have seen with many operators
@@hakanevin8545 There's no problems with the engines, Qatar has no problems and they have the same weather and climate, no difference at all, it is just a load of BS !
Airbus has problems with Pratt and Whitney engines but these are not on A350 but on A320 and A321 Neo @Hypersonic-es6vh
@@nickolliver3021 yeah I’d say 777x and A350-1000 would be a great replacement for the current 777’s and A380s eventually even though they will operate the A380s another 5-10 years or so
Hopefully, they will acquire the 1000s.
I think they are holding off from the -1000 because of their current 777-300ER fleet
@@unfathomable1876 Because of the engine.
@@unfathomable1876 also, "engine" issues.
I hope so. This should give hope in 777x. Their a380s will slowly go.
@nickolliver3021 I'm proud of you, nicky. You actually want to see them get more Airbus 😉
So excited for the Emirates service to return back to Edinburgh with their A350-900!
It will just Look so wrong seeing an emirates plane which is not an a380 or 777 😅
@@valentin6824fr
As an Edinburger this is the best news in the world. I booked a ticket on the 11th of November last month so i hope that takes me on an A350!
lucky! i really wish i will fly on the 1350 emirates someday
I just hate that Boeing can't get the b777x into service
Emirates having the 350 & 777x would be next level
Boeing is done
@@user-nu1sq2fz8s Boeing is here to stay same with Airbus, they are the 2 biggest plane manufacturers
Even Emirates won't want to rely on Airbus no matter how good it is over Boeing. What 350 models did Emirates order
Does Emirates lease these planes and who do they tend to sell the older replaced fleet to.
Meanwhile it's alot to integrate the A350 arrivals as well as the 777
@@user-nu1sq2fz8sBoeing will be here even in 2050, still building commercial jets
Nightlight out from Edinburgh - the A380 from Glasgow is a day flight. Gives great flexibility for Scotland!
Im excited because I get the best of both worlds as I live In between Glasgow and Edinburgh so I can go see the A380 and the A359
Thanks for the update Dj!!
I’m excited to see the business cabin that will be installed on the a350.
Good On Airbus And Emirates Great Video Info
Philippines 🇵🇭 airlines ordered 9 units Airbus 350-1000
Greetings from Edinburgh! ❤❤❤
I love the A350! 🤩
Fantastic news👏👏👏
keep it up man i love your videos
So exciting ❤
Gee, thank you for that “non-biased” airbus report!
Emirates should really fly to Turin, my home city.
Frfr
Great news for Edinburgh that Emirates are finally coming back with a 2nd daily flight out of Scotland 🏴✈️
I saw one coming from the airport. I can't wait to see it in action
Can't wait
The A350 will be a test drive for Emirates, and once they compare results with their current fleet, and the A350 engine sorted, don't be surprised when they order the -1000. Also, Emirates will not take delivery of any of its dreamliners, and that's certain for sure. Emirates will operate a fleet of 777, 777x and A350's, while it's sister company flydubai will operate the 737 Max and the 787-9 dreamliners. Emirates loves a young and simplified fleet, and that's why they are very efficient.
early! nice video like always
I’m sure they will fly it to Adelaide as the first long haul city destination anywhere to Europe and west Asia is medium haul. They still need the time for crew familiarization.
I've just booked my ticket on the Emirates A350 to Bahrain, can't wait!
I hope they do give Adelaide some priority.
Me too
Will Emirates also potentially fly the A350 to Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles?
Seattle maybe but not SFO and LAX unless they want to add a second daily flight so compliment the A380 service
@@hanj31They used to do that before with the 777-200LR
Nice
I can't wait for the A350-900 as well alongside 777x and 787
Hopefully there will be better news to come for 777x as they recieve new a350s this year
@nickolliver30777X won't be released anytime soon . And don't geton any new Boeing aircraft if you want to stay alive 21
@@user-nu1sq2fz8s maybe don't get on an airbus if you want to stay alive either. 777x will be certified next year. Not sure how that is "not anytime soon"
@@nickolliver3021 Yeah :D
@@harrytownley395 cool
Surprised they won’t offer first class, given its the cornerstone of their marketing
A350 is my fav plane and I live near Edinburgh
Twice a day Qatar 350 already operating
Good video and great to see the A350 joining Emirates. My favourite memories are in the bar area at the rear of business class on the A380. Cant see the 777X in service until after 2027.
Can you talk about beregional in your next vid its the new flybe 3.0
The 350 will serve Emirates well, I do hope Emirates and RR reach an agreement so that a order for the 350-1000 is placed
They should get some of the 1000
A350 is a superb aircraft. I suspect in the UK it will aid further expansion, enabling the addition of further UK cities such as Bristol and Belfast. Maybe even Leeds-Bradford.
I hope I could fly on the a350 Emirates plane, Ive Been on the 777 and a330..
EK ordered the 777-8 but nobody knows if it will ever be built. They need the A350-1000 but Rolls Royce have to prove that their engines will hold up un the conditions
Will be converted to 777-9s
Their small single-aisle is online
I wonder why they never replaced the A380 with the 747-8?
As a passenger, for me the A 350 is the most enjoyable plane to fly with 👍👍👍👍
i am pretty sure that they they got a huge discount from boeing but they had to push for a few a350 as fast as possible because boeing can't deliver.
beside that, i would like to see some a380 retrofitted with cfm rise or RR ultrafans.
Keep dreaming
How’s Emirates going to fly all those routes with 1 maybe 2 planes 🤔
A350❤❤❤❤
Emirates A350 will fly to my airport, Lyon in France !!
Think of what if and Airbus jet crashes or they have a major production order.
Bahrain? That has got to be an "introduction to service" route only.
Emirates will never go back and will order 1000's mid next year. 🎉🎉🎉
They might
They would IF RR could replace to upgraded blades on the A350-1000 and Airbus could supply in time. Because the way the 777x is going it will be 2026 before its certified
@@johnchristmas7522 how will you know its 2026. Its not confirmed that it is
@@nickolliver3021Deliveries could start in 2026
Wow what is that b-roll?
Emirates should add a flight to Vancouver... they would get a lot of customers who are trying to connect to certain Southern Asian and African countries. There are no current direct flights to Vancouver except Air Canada but they are currently just doing seasonal service. I expected them to put A350 in this route.
32 In business, 21 premium economy and 259 in Economy?! Jesus! The Qatari -900 are 36 in JC and 247 in EY…I just hope EK commissions the planes properly, otherwise, the crew will HATE those planes. Also, I pray it’s not a 10 abres config
Will Emirates eventully fly the a350 2 nz
What happened to Emirates concern over the A350 engines not performing well in the dry, dusty climate of Dubai?
Their issue with the -1000 engine which differs slightly than the-900
That's the 1000
@@jl-7992 Didn't RR green light up to 1 billion dollar to fix the issue (extend the service interval) of those -1000 engines?
I would just ask Emirates to fly their A350s to America or Australia
because A350s around the world are operated normally on long-haul flights.
i find riding the A350 is smoother than B777
What will Emirates choose when they decide to replace their 380s ?
awesome
Is the 350 not a bit big for such local flights from UAE, why not use a more frequent A220 on a route like Bahrain
Emirates has only big aircraft in the fleet
A lot of A380s have probably had their "D" checks by now. Add uncertainty about arrival or eventual performance of the 777X and contrary to Emirates usual practices the A380 isn't going anywhere in the near future
MSN 684 will be the first
Not looking forward. I don't know why. I love the A350, but the EK livery just feels like only B777 & A380 territory. I envision that the best future for emirates is a fleet of the B777X & A380neo only. They really think a mix of B787s & A350s in huge quantities; which are both smaller than the B777X will suffice for an A380 replacement? Airbus must seriously re-consider an A380neo because it wouldn't just be emirates who'd order it. Besides I'm just unable to see the EK livery on any other types but the B777 & A380; it's been a trademark of EK since 2017.
The days of Emirates operating the A-380 to Auckland & Christchurch NZ might be numbered. The A350 has a longer range than the Boeing 787-8.
emirates will definetly continue a380 service to auckland, it used to fly 4 daily before the pandemic but is now only 1 daily, so there is lots of unserved demand
no1s talkin bout the a380 they prob gonna phase out 😢
Are they replacing the 777-300 ERs?
Emirates retired their first 777-300er back in 2017, more and more of them are getting old now and are waiting for retirement. The A350 together with the 777x will take their place
777 retirement will accelerate as more 350s are delivered
Airbus now has the leading EDGE and will capture it as Boeing will struggle and will be forced to go into a new Business deal with another Defense partner in order to restore strength and capability on quality designs on modern aircraft. Lumen Technologies Inc is a big option
The fact that there is no high speed rail service between these major Middle East cities is absolutely ridiculous. And yet somehow it is perfectly fine with using aircraft meant for 12+ hour flights in these same places.
I mean they tried to introduce between two major cities like medina to mecca with spanish highspeed talgo trains and they run pretty empty.... Ik that it is now between to big cities in one country but if they can't run this properly, then why would investors invest in rail infrastructure if between two countries will be even lesser...
Would require going through other countries, and the geopolitics of the ME is not that stable to allow minimal visa travel through these regions
@dipu94321 You are right but they could have introduced it to those countries where they have a very close bond. Like from UAE to Muscat or Riyadh to Kuwait-City you know.... They do have the money to that...
buses are more affordable and it's just a 5 hour trip with stops in-between.
I hate the fact other models are entering their fleet, I like how simple it is with just a380 and 777. Though I understand this needs to happen, I think emirates should scrap the idea of the 787.
They should just stick with a350 and 777x as a future fleet.
They will most likely convert the 30 787s into 777-9s or maybe a future 777-10 for 380 replacements
Emirates being as “classy” as they are surprises me they haven’t ordered or received the 1000 variant considering it’s the most modern model 🤷♂️
They don't want that plane due to engine maintenance issues
@@danielabackstrom ahh I do remember them mentioning that, guess it’s up to airbus to reel them in with a Neo
I want them to come to Japan:[
Why do you not mention the rejection of the A350-1000 due to unacceptably high maintenance requirements?
He has talked about it in previous videos I believe 😊
@@danielabackstrom Cool. I wondered why he never mentioned it was 900's only. Airbus have had a number of issues with their Engine suppliers. I flew on Iberia A350 I think it was a 900 and I found it a better experience in Business than my recent flight on a BA A380 in First. A350 was nowhere near as claustrophobic as the A380 cabin and was very very quiet. I remain a fan of the B777 300er's but my heart will always belong to the queen of the skies. I do hope the story that Boeing are working on a 747 Twin are true. I used to love being able to look forward. JAL are switching to A350's and I have yet to travel on one of these as LHR is still B777 300er.
why the a350 to bologna and not venice 😭😭 hope for 777X or 787😭😭
Most of those routes seem like a waste of such a long-range aircraft. A smaller aircraft with less range could serve such routes with greater frequency; which is better for passengers. But, of course, there is a massive global shortage of narrow body aircraft right now.
Do I understand this correctly: they are gonna put it on flights from Dubai to Bahrain, isn’t that a huge waste of it’s capability, that’s a 40 minute flight
Short flights are good in the beginning for training crews
If there is high capacity demand then using a bigger plane fewer times than multiple smaller planes makes sense
they use 777-300ERs at the moment for those kinds of flights, and A380s in some cases.
Damn u all make sense haha
There is a limit on aircraft movements in Dubai, they are more or less running at max capacity. To use a smaller aircraft will just mean that you can’t offer everyone a seat since you can’t fly more flights
What type(s) of A350?
-900
Emirates ordered only A350-900.
65 A350-900
Looking forward to the A350. Hopefully the seats will be better than the 777 inferior offerings.
If they were going to England why not Manchester or Heathrow :(
too much demand in heathrow and Manchester for a350
@@odzergaming fair point
Hope a350 can go Pakistan
I wonder how they differentiate between using the A350 vs the B787
Range efficiency price
The comfort and cabin design on the A350 is unmatched, even by the older 787!
Both the 788 and 789 are slightly smaller and offer somewhat less comfort.
@ the less comfort is mainly on the airline with leg room
☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka are 'South' not, 'West' Asia.
What a weird way to pronounce Kuwait and Sri Lanka
A380 the best ever
Boeing widebody copy?
Oh yeah Adelaide missed out again..but if you want to make money out of golf..where do you go first??? Adelaide..the lone town battling the world.
The only bad news is Boeing. Airbus has the ultimate sales pitch bar nations who rely on US defense buy Boeing as a pay back
Emirates will scrap the 777x once it has a good look at it. Airbus is years ahead of the game as usual.
Keep dreaming , in fact they will order more 777Xs
They are the airline in the world that most need the 777x-9
Flown on A350s and for me it wasn't anything special. Please come at me Airbus fanboys LOL
Tell me better plane than A350
Smart move not buying Boeing. Passengers are afraid of them.
nicky will be attacking you soon
@@wadehiggins1114 it’s dangerous to criticize Boeing. Two whistleblowers are dead.
Well they also have the 787-8 and 787-10 on order. But the A350 is arriving sooner.
@jerrypolverino6025 If you don't see me posting anymore, I got "boeinged." 😱

Let’s pretend aircraft don’t pollute
Who is pretending?
No one is pretending anything.
they pollute way less than a car ever will
What doom and gloom? Boeing ran out of money to cover for all the fanboying? I have heard little bad news. And all the bad news coming out from Boeing is good news for normal people. It will help protect their lives.
The the A350 . Hate Emirates going down hill. And the way they treat their staff are like 3 rd rate citizens . Appalling airline
It has money though
This is not HUGE news. It's minor news at best. DJ needs to stop reading airline's glowing marketing releases. Better he be a journalist.
Emirates will cancel B777X
cramming too many small seats into a plane on long haul will kill emerates. The A380 are popular as they provide legroom and space. To make a profile passenger want to remove heavy seat back screens and increase food offerings with best in class legroom.legroom.
