I love spy class so much. It’s either highly rewarding or pure torture to play as. But nothing beats that rush when you get that sweet chain stab

Spy is the kind of class where you can consistently spend the most time accomplishing nothing. all that time spent being careful, sneaking behind the enemy, waiting for the perfect moment.....
and someone rounded the corner behind you at the exact moment you were making your move and spotted you. or one of the people you were sneaking up on just happened to check behind them despite having many enemys in front of them. congrats on getting nothing after an entire minute or more of doing nothing.
spend 35 seconds doing everything perfectly and just as you get 98% and are pushing up with someone who’s ready for uber, suddenly some frickwad who’s 10 fricking kilometres away scoped in and popped your head off in 4 fricking milliseconds before you could even see where the enemy team is.

Here's a funny trick:
When infiltrating a sentry gun ness, stay cloaked but use the voice command. You can make Spy use his voice to lure enemy engies to scramble. It's funny when they hear me but don't find me while still trying to search.

Clearly the next step in these videos, once all of the in defence of or bad weapon videos have been made is a series of bad weapon academy videos about weapons that do not and should not exist. Like the Scout dildo-bat (which, being pixelated can block fire sometimes but it makes it harder for the scout to see because you cannot turn off the pixelation) or the Pyro primary that shoots bees.
So...how come you never disguise while in your spawn?

So out of curiosity, what's your network settings? If you haven't tweaked them at all and are still using the TF2 defaults...that might explain a lot of your hitreg issues. For reference, this is what I have mine set to:

This video just perfectly capsulates my experience playing spy, a buggy class favoured by weebs that makes me want to kill myself every time I think about playing it. The only thing I like about spy is the ambassador, getting a sick crit that kills your target is great. Also would you consider doing a "scorchshot is evil" type video on the diamondback, I fucking hate that thing, being rewarded crits for playing a class is stupid.

well spy training arc was great it really make you appreciate the character more and we even found out who is scouts true dad but i honestly think it was third best arc after mann co vs grey mann pt2 arc that grey mannn battle on the end with saxton hale was hilarious also i think that second best arc was love arc where scout confess to miss pauling and saxtons hales gf left him
try not fail stabbing as much, you seem to be doing the stab too early wich screw with your momentum, causing you to just hold m1 and miss all the other stabs after, aiming meelee kinda sounds silly cause its seen as the easiest to hit out of all your slots, but timing between swing is **very ** important, fail stabs can happen due to ping and weird hitboxes, but it is also very common player fault, by not making sure to position corectly, at 8:45 for example, when you were chasing the medic, you were so tunnel visioned that even when the medic backed away and stopped moving forward, you didnt back away with him to better position yourself on his back, even just as to stop moving forward and going to the right towards him would have been a safer bet than directly position yourself on his left
cloaking next or near walls and other structures that obscure the ennemies possiblity of vewing you is also a very good trick to prevent ennemies to notice you are uncloaking, and also also, after you decloak there is a extremly long period of time before you can attack, so making sure you are are fully decloaked before getting in back range is always good, and dont forget cloaking gives you a damage resistance, so if you know you screwed up a stab it is more useful to ususally cloak and run away the best you can
Well spy is just the worst class in the game objectively don't waste your time trying to get good if you don't enjoy it in the first place

you can actually see the medic turn if you go frame by frame, its still the absurd 180° angle kind of backstab, but not quite a facestab.
Basically the medic thought he was gonna go right but instead he went backwards which got him on the backstab angle
I deny this one of beign because, frame bh frame it makes sense(barely). However, at another part of the video, 2 of the backstabs on the meds are facestabs

I thought it was kind of funny that he got mad about pyros spychecking. Like, that's regular counter-play for spy. I don't even play TF2 and even I know that pyros puff fire semi-randomly to check for the invisible guy with the instakill melee.
@@lexslate2476well yeah, but that fact doesn't make it any less infuriating since it causes you to be sentenced to death just due to a single spark of fire. If there's more than 1 Pyro on enemy team, you're just the dead weight.
@@turkishjanitor3666 That's just the nature of the beast. Pyro's the main counter to Spy. Scissors loses to rock. Besides, it makes it all the more satisfying, and frankly hilarious when you do get outmanoeuvre a Pyro.
I recommend you using crouching while using the C&D and YER mate.

@@benjamincousins6680 it makes it so your cloak basically regenerates at the same rate you use it so you can keep moving I do it near the end of the cloak

When playing with YER don't just run at people hoping to get a second backstab. Best part about YER is blending in with the crowd when you take one of dudes out. For example if you backstab engie don't run at people. Go to your dispencer to "regain metal" and then make your move. When disguised as medic atleast wear a medigun. So on and so forth.
