We added Snow Trackers to my sons Ski Doo. They came highly recommended. The front end use to jitter like crazy. Oh man, the sled rides like it’s on rails now.
The rubber pads are higher in the rear to force the back of the ski down bringing the front up which helps reduce darting. I always shim the back of the ski rubber pads. With the sled flat on the ground the contact point of the skeg should be a little rearward of the ski pivot bolt. Not forward of it.
Those carbides should make a huge difference! As soon as you add studs, it changes everything. Thanks for the shoutout on the Ultimax Belts and supporting my podcast and annual ride! You rock Guliz! Keep ‘er pinned and between the stakes 😊
Hey Mike great video. Those carbides are sweet. Can’t wait to see video on how they handle on your trip. The second set should help too. Hopefully she corners like your on rails. 🤙🏻💪🏻😋
I have the "x" version of your sled and I am experiencing the same issues. I put 6 inch ace bars on and it and it did not make any difference in soft snow conditions. I am not studded. I really believe it's the pilot ski, more than anything else. On soft snow they are not good and this season rarely gave us good, firm conditions. I will be looking into the new ski doo ski next season and see if guys like it. The problem will be less of an issue next season if winter comes back like it should. BTW, my son's 600 comp model pushed as well in the same condition, so I don't think this issue is only a 4 stroke issue. My sled's sag is spot on, before anyone asks about that. I will be having my shocks rebuilt and revalved by Ian at Monster performance which will help immensely. I do that every second year as the ski doo oil and valving is junk. Enjoy your Quebec trip, hope they have snow for you.
Hey Mike , seen your recent video.....snowtrackers will definitely provide the performance you are looking for , however since you have the Bergstroms....burn them up first. Mike ,you need to have your sled suspension setup for you ....your a big boy so the dealer prep is basically nothing. Inside ski lift and pushing in the corners is all suspension setup.....you can throw all the voodoo magic parts at it ....but if the sleds suspension isn't setup optimimally to the individual rider ....no voodoo part will help. Let me know if you need help and we can chat to make this work with what you currently have installed . Cheers
@@mikeguliz yep I know should went with qualipeice treks amazing carbide would work killer on your sled.. and less money 🤷🏼 oh and they look like they weren’t made by a child hahaha
I have a stock clutch. Chris just added some weight and took out some weight not sure were set up at the moment, but yeah, just messed with the weights.
I’m gonna try them see how they are. I’m looking for carbide’s that are a little more aggressive than the snow trackers I don’t know how they’re going to be till I ride it Thanks for the insight.
@@mikeguliz Hey Mike, curious to see what you think of the new carbides? Did you run the Semi or Aggressive version of the Snotrackers on your last 4s Turbo (2020) ??
Hey Mike, congratulations enjoy!, safe travels
Thanks Mike I appreciate the comment. Thanks for stopping bye🤙

Yeah, I’ve tried snow trackers of these don’t work all probably switch back to them

Yeah, I’m hoping I can stop blowing corners and pick up the speed little bit
I have a gen 4 900r, those bars help, really good on hard trails. In soft snow I found the Curve skis worked better than the pilot x skis

Thanks I’ll let you know after I try to sled. I did put a heavier spring in the back for my way most definitely.
Ya sure looks like my 6 year old son made those carbides..

Got them on my Z, work great. I have Precision 1R tune in mine, what clutch kit are you running?

Snowtrackers still the best IMO
Maybe let’s see how these work
@@mikeguliz The tripple points do work well, but you may want to put more carbide on the outside edge to get rid of the push. tthey do steer heavy
