    Just a tip. You could also select 'flood fill' under the advantage settings in the cut settings editor. This results in the same time savings with out having to cut the design in half.

      Hi Salvador - that is true - I may have mentioned that in another video - but I could be wrong 🙂

    I like the cut shape feature time savings. I haven't tryout it yet but will on my next project.
    The main thing I personally dont like with offset fill is that it creates deep V's inside the object. At some point i wish their would be a update to stagger the starting points to make the start stop points more hidden.

      Thanks Matt - I'll have to look into that one - I don't use offset from the type of stuff I do, but I guess it does have it's place in some projects

    Using the same shape but not splitting in half, could you achieve a similar result by speeding up the white space scan?/ during engraving?

      @mrcraftsmith Год назад

      Hi Allan - you can definitely increase the speed of the job by speeding up the white space scan - however - it is still travelling that empty path - whereas this technique eliminates the majority of that empty path making it more efficient in my mind 🙂

      @@mrcraftsmith thanks for that Darren I’m relatively new to this hobby but I’ll give your version a try and report back. Thanks for your videos, I find them very easy to follow, not rushed like others I could mention, well done
