Ngl at first l didn't understand the quill pen as in why did he name the song quill pen....saurr after many song repeats while bawling my eyes out each time....l think I understand "Quill Pen" as the title to show how love like writing with a quill takes time and effort right... Using a quill pen requires dipping it into ink and carefully making each stroke nothing happens quickly or easily. Love too needs patience, care, and steady effort to grow. Just as a beautiful piece of writing is built word by word love deepens with each thoughtful action. English is my second language as well but to me it was more about the significant other becoming more of a stranger than it being about cheating. Also knowing Hyunjin and his poetic nature, I would totally expect this kind of meaning from him. At least it was the first thought that came into my mind. To me it looks like the paper cut by a pen after someone scribbled on it. Perhaps Hyunjin himself… All song gives such a bittersweet feel and the vocals are amazing. It is also one of Hyunjin’s favourite songs as well. Really nice to be listened to with a cup of coffee in hands while watching falling snow out of the window….
