My dear friends, then you should just keep on singing the song over and over again. And you will empty the sorrow you keep in you. You will fell more peaceful after every session. Fill the room with your voice. Sing against a wall or a hard object, in order to fill the room with your voice blended in with the instrumental. And make it as beautiful as you can. This way you can clean your soul for the things you have gone through.
Ah... yes... I agree. This version allows much thought and contemplation and I much prefer it because it allows the full meaning of voice (if sung) and of the lyrics which are pure and cleansing and yes I dare say even cathartic... It is my personal favorite backing for this lovely song and I will use it only in my own performances of this classic.
