The envelope Billy gave to her and said open if something happens to me probably had evidence of Sullivan being a rat and told her to give it to Dignam. That's how Dignam knew he was the rat and killed him. Just my guess of what happened.
Nice to have a amazing film that starts with one good plot twist when Jack Nicholson dies & then still goes on to four more plot twists!!! This the only film that keeps going back n forth throughout the last 30 minutes with non stop plot twists lolz❤
