hahaha! I'll catch you on the... ,that did look like a good sausage roll! just hitched the water bowser up to the gator, this dry weather is getting the sheep thirsty! great video olly!
Labor isn't expensive Olly. It's just that as farmers we can't afford it anymore. Even with current prices they are historically extremely low. Everyone's a loser(except the consumer perhaps).
Big fan of yours! I’m coming up to see my grandma and grandad who live in Ormesby near Great Yarmouth in 2 weeks really excited to see your farm and maybe you?! 😁
Careful picking up trailers like that with the front of the Manitou. I’ve bent those ear hooks before - took a while to heat and straighten with the oxy and a sledge hammer
I just use a single pallet tine to make a starting hole and just use the weight of a manitou to push them in saves lots of time and a very solid post just don’t get carried away with the pallet tine as you never know what your above
Awesome video olly! Great as always to see you doing some odd jobs round the farm are sometimes more fun than you think! And that wasn't a sausage roll! It was packed with meat. They are best like that 😆
18 ton all day long you have the tackle to pull it and load it use it you don’t always have to fill it full if conditions don’t allow but when they do you’ll save time on travelling
Good video mate. Question here. Would u not fill in that hole beside the post to make it stock proof. I know it’s not that big of a gap and your not putting sheep in there. But if it’s a horse arena or what not wouldn’t you want to block it up just in case something happens? That would be my 2 cents on that. Just chuck up a short old gate there or something. Cheers
Mighty video once again Olly! 14 tonne would be the sweet spot I’d say and is plenty big enough. What pressure do you keep in the wheels of your manitou?
Another crackin' video Olly! What do you mean there's nothing to watch on TV haha there's loads like the Brit Awards, Alex Rider on Prime, Jack Ryan or Industry which i recommend. Gee that sausage roll looked well tasty! Keep up the content buddy!!
16, 18 ton you'd be silly, baring in mind you drive on heavily wet ground full of heavy wet muck, I wouldn't use a 6155r with 18 ton on a dry day, just boss the tractor too much
If you want to future proof olly i would go with double gates, 16 tonne trailer atm or 18tonne these days gotta stay with the times and move as much as possible at once
Great video and nothing wrong with a bit of good old hard manual labour it's one of the best bits in farming and keeps people fit
Very true
hahaha! I'll catch you on the... ,that did look like a good sausage roll! just hitched the water bowser up to the gator, this dry weather is getting the sheep thirsty! great video olly!
Brilliant video Olly, thank you!
id say 14 tonne, thats what i have and it gets the jobs done its plenty big enough. great video again mate well done.
I'm the same with you with the coffee on the morning.
I would of concrete a gate post in, I use metal post. Just make sure the post do not move.
Loved this. Your commentary was so funny
absolutely cracking video olly as always
Hi, Olly you should use a digger bar for the tough bits the next time you're digging out a post hole.
Need a proper grafter spade for digging out and the pair of shovels just to clean hole
Be careful picking up trailers like that, you end up snapping the hook in the headstock.
I think u should get a 20 tonne dumper instead of a tipper because u can still draw muck but u can also do contract work drawing earth and gravel
4:19 that's what she said
Labor isn't expensive Olly. It's just that as farmers we can't afford it anymore. Even with current prices they are historically extremely low. Everyone's a loser(except the consumer perhaps).
Your bend the head stock on the manitou and your attachments won’t stay on properly is you keep using it for what it’s not made for

You're flat out Olly. One thing, never put concrete around a timber post in the ground,It'll wrot it out in no time at all... 🖒
No if you put a thick plastic bag around it
There’s a poll witch is used to put in posts on our farm we use it all the time. It’s like a really heavy metal pole and it makes really easy hole .
I like your videos!
Considering a 50 passenger bus weighs 13 ton, 14 seems decent
I think I would go for a 18ton trailer because, you could get a bit more weight in the trailer and save time, rather than a 14ton trailer.
Might be a cool idea Olly to put your own branding on the new trailer like Ollys Farm on the side?
Thats a good idea :)
I just use a single pallet tine to make a starting hole and just use the weight of a manitou to push them in saves lots of time and a very solid post just don’t get carried away with the pallet tine as you never know what your above
Great video olly keep them coming stay safe 🚜🚜👩🌾👩🌾👍👍🏴🏴🇬🇧🇬🇧👌👌☝️
Next time just use post-Crete to secure the post in the hole
Awesome video olly! Great as always to see you doing some odd jobs round the farm are sometimes more fun than you think! And that wasn't a sausage roll! It was packed with meat. They are best like that 😆
Brilliant mate keep it up
The only thing about the slogan on the back is it’s small maybe get a big on for if you go on the road with it
If you had a 1 ton digger you could of dug out a hole put the post mix in then it won't move 😂😂😂👍👍👍
I would recommend you buying a chest mounted mic, so we can hear you whilst your away from the camera
Great video olly, I'd say a 16 tone trailer🙂🤘
Yes a 16 tone trailer
Nice video
18 ton all day long you have the tackle to pull it and load it use it you don’t always have to fill it full if conditions don’t allow but when they do you’ll save time on travelling

Everything in farming is getting big but the problem is the rural road network isn’t and some of the really big stuff is destroying the roads.
Mighty video once again Olly! 14 tonne would be the sweet spot I’d say and is plenty big enough. What pressure do you keep in the wheels of your manitou?

You’re using the wrong tool to dig the hole. You need a post spade to break the ground then use your tool to remove the loose earth.
Need a crow bar its easier to loosen the dirt to start then you can clean as you go .
16, 18 ton you'd be silly, baring in mind you drive on heavily wet ground full of heavy wet muck, I wouldn't use a 6155r with 18 ton on a dry day, just boss the tractor too much
12 ton would be bog enough for him anyway
youre a child, what would you know about tractors?
@@irishfarmer8332 which one are you talking to?
Yep I think a 14 ton will do the job perfectly 👍🏽🙂
If you want to future proof olly i would go with double gates, 16 tonne trailer atm or 18tonne these days gotta stay with the times and move as much as possible at once
If you are thinking of contracting, a 16 ton and a silage kit is the way to go,
14 ton is perfect
Aha, my monster! PetroNick 956
Good lad, glad to see you’re using the harness points 👏👏👏. Your videos are brilliant so keep up the good work 😁😁
14 tone would be more than enough, nice size trailer
Plz 1 video make your family love from India ❤
14 ton would be plenty - especially on a 155hp tractor. Think your pants might change colour going down hill with a 18 tonner fully loaded🤣
A 16 tonne would be perfect in my opinion because it’s not too big and it’s not too small
I would go with the 16 tonne trailer
If you go too big with trailer u might not be able to through gates so go average size
Yeah a 14 ton should do just fine.😊
I think a 16 ton is a good size trailer cause it’s not to big or not to small
18 ton the best
Must have looked weird digging a hole In the middle of the night 😂😂
I would consider a Kane half pipe 14 or 16 ton far better than the Richard western.
16tone it mean that more room
First thing.... Measure the hole 😂😂
It's always good to measure the hole👀😂
The tool you use for digging , what do call it? Never seen one before
How is the 135 getting on
Great thanks, there’s some pictures of it in today’s video!
I wonder if your channel is going to get more popular now that Clarksons Farm has finished filming
18 tone is good for muck carting
Have you tried twisting red red switch on the door??
We run both a 14 and an 18 tonne at work the 18 travels better by far
Double shovel
instead of getting one of side clip catch's for the gate you would be better off doing chain and padlock just in case you ever flytipers
I would stick to 14 ton trailer boss 😎
I am a farm worker and picker I am seriously motivated courageous responsable and work hard I am looking for job
Hi olly
First time yeah
Olly is your key land factor still for sale please
Great video olly.
14 tone trailer would be perfect for you, your tractor and the size of your farm anything bigger would be to big for your farm
How many buckets do you have is that 3
I would round it up to 15t
Labours not cheap? I’ll come work for ya 😂
Is ur farm coming to farming simulator 19 or farming simulator 22
I think 18 tun because you have more room
Great video. If you are using the trailer for contract work I would say an 16/18 tonnes but if just for your use stay with the size you have
Awesome video ;)
William😍❤
Have you bought a dung spreader?
Would you mind to say what's the pair of sheo you're wearing in this video please ?
?
14 ton trailer
Why not just use cement give it a week or two it will have come out
you should go for 16t best of both world
16 ton
Probably a 16 ton better to have a bigger one
Did you buy the gator
I think a 16 ton because we have a 18 ton and I promise you it would be to big
14
i see no point with you buying an 18 ton as its too big for the jobs you do where the 14 ton is too small so i think 16 ton is the perfect size
Why do you need more trailers
First
Refresh youtube lol
16 tonne
We have the same man a 2 as u can't pronounce it right lol u no whT I mean
Dose that miny digger belong to you olly
